Heading to LV on June 20-25. Very excited to go to an Aviators game while we are there. Went 2 years ago and had so much fun!

BF & I will be there June 23-25th, then I'm headed home to Cali while A stays for a (surprise) Boy's Weekend to celebrate his 40th (and all 3 of the guys meeting him there have birthdays right around then too). He'll fly back home on the 27th. This will be my shortest trip ever, so that sucks, but any time spent in Vegas is a good time :headbang:

Staying at Virgin on a comp'd offer, can't wait to check out their rooms & the pool, which is supposed to be open by then. And Resorts World finally opens on June 24th, so planning on going for the celebration! Anyone else headed to the RW Grand Opening that night?

I have considered going that evening...after several hours of drinking my weight in booze at Jerry's Nugget!

YAY so the 4Q host set me up in the same (QQQQ South Tower) room for both my 4Q and Binion’s offers, so no need to do a room move in the middle of a work day or have my work laptop be haunted or something :p:haha:

Not the best news yesterday, or rather no news.

Would have thought the US would be on our green list, but that's all moot until President Biden rescinds the ban on UK citizens entering the US.

I know he is here in a few weeks for a big G7 meeting in Cornwall, so would like to think there will be discussions before that, and maybe even there will be some reciprocal opening before he travels.

Even if it's while here, that might only mean pushing my flights back a week or so, and I know he said in a speech he wanted everything open by July 4th (or words to that effect).

At this point, even if I can only get over on July 4th, I'll take a 10 day trip, and maybe come back at Xmas if I can grab a cheap flight, lol.

    Likewise for yourself :)

I think it might be by July 4th, but then it's just a case of being able to get a flight in time lol.

At this point I’m so ready to overtip about everybody. I’m son eager to be there.

If only Mr. Biden could give us the ‘go’…

With US vaccine percentages going up fast and number of US Covid cases dipping fast it seems the States/businesses are really chomping at the bit to reopen. Schedules are moving ahead of what was expected. It looks good from this side for international travel to open soon as long as things are working from the other side...ie: EU. Get your vaccines so restrictions can be lifted.

That's why I think we should both have some kind of bridge, as we're so far ahead with vaccines in the UK, even though the EU have had some wobbles themselves.

Our numbers are now so low, along with vaccination rates so high, even with >1m tests a day we're only picking up a few thousand positives.

We went last night. A beautiful night for baseball. Saw that kid Drew Robinson, the LV resident who lost his eye in a suicide attempt, hit his first home run. It's been a huge story the first week of the season here. He got a standing ovation from the crowd, pretty cool to see us stand and cheer for the other team's player. $18 a ticket.

I also had a 9:00 ice hockey game my son was playing at City National Arena just a couple of yards away, saw a couple of periods and then back to the game. Just an amazing location with state of the art sports facilities along with Downtown Summerlin and Red Rock Casino. Really so beautiful it makes your eyes tired trying to capture it all.

Words cant describe how much I love it here.

Have fun at the game. Drink lots of water, and make sure it's a night game
