Then it was off to another beach but I can’t recall what this one was but we hopped right in the water.

Then it was off to the Baths which is where we should have started this thing. This was a maze of rocks and ladders and labyrinths and caves.

And then we had to head back without quite getting to see everything. Not a bad view from the parking lot.

Interestingly enough I had 75% talked myself into going on what I'm pretty sure was that New York cruise that was your neighbour at that port (pretty sure it's the same NCL one you photographed... too lazy to look up that exact same itinerary). Needless to say I'm glad I didn't, even if it meant we'd have had the chance to meet for some beers and possibly gambling at the port!

Loving the detailed recap. Keep the photos and the anecdotes coming!

Also gotta say that your T-shirt game is consistently on point, as is JR's necklace game.

Congratulations to you both! I’m just now catching up on your report. How did you like Antigua? I’ve been to every Caribbean island multiple times and Antigua has always been my favorite. There’s an excursion there that takes you on Catamaran for 6 hours of snorkeling, lobster lunch on the beach and plenty of hours to lounge on a quiet, beautiful, white sand beach. I was curious if you enjoyed that island as much as me? The locals were so friendly and I didn’t feel as “touristy” there.

Hey Hoofy. To be honest, I didn't get a good idea of what Antigua was like as my experience was limited to about a 6 block radius. I did feel quite comfortable strolling around. I tend to get off the beaten tourist track everywhere I go. It has lead to some elevated but not dangerous adventures over the course of my life. My limited exposure did suggest it was quite safe and I understand what you are referring to where you feel less "touristy". It is highly likely we will do this cruise again at some point or a cruise with similar stops. Antigua and The Pitons of St. Lucia will certainly get another look from the Gaggles in the future.

Yes, I'd like to re-visit many of those southern Caribbean ports. Our Antigua visit was similar to yours, although we hired a local to show us around that area near the port. Besides the church (I agree, very interesting), we visited the fish market and other local (but out of the way) attractions.

Re visiting the Pitons, the absolute best way to do it is to take a boat ride from Castries (about 30 minutes). The alternative is a long, winding road bus that does stop elsewhere. But, the attraction is the Pitons themselves. Take the boat.

Thanks. We were all about "More Everything"!!! We still have several days to go on the cruise ship and some Orlando time.... This TR is taking a lot longer than I thought it would.

So we got back to the ship, had a quick snack, and relaxed for a bit. We had previously booked a Cirque dinner thing that was a Spiegelworld Tent kinda thing. We got there a bit late but were seated with a couple cool couples. One of the other couples had been on the same excursion with us today which was kind of coincidental. In fact, this young, newly married couple were also on their honeymoon and we would end up seeing them everywhere. The show was really really good considering it was on a cruise ship. And I mean that with no insult but the standard for these shows tend to be a bit lower than a running production on the land, obviously. I didn't bother taking any pics due to the lighting. We walked right out of that show and into a magic show that was halfway through. Theater was pretty packed but we scammed our way into seats by.....

This guy. What a drunken ass. In and out of consciousness. Feet up and between the seats right beside the person in front of him. When he did wake up he’d offer something loud and barely intelligible. The “lady” he was with was not much better. Not cool dude.....

And then we hit this lil guy. Shortly after, I locked in the win and called it a night. In the morning...St Thomas.

Pretty representative of NCL. You've almost inspired a non-LV TR of our NCL Bliss cruise March 1-8. Almost.
