I don't think this has been discussed. It's been a long time since we have played at any MGM property. Most casinos keep your name on file forever. I last recall we had a joint account. That is me and spouse on same account but with cards that is only one number apart. We have separate accounts while playing 'My Vegas' online.
If we each redeem an award, can we separate our card account at the club desk before we actually try to redeem the prize? Has anyone heard of this happening? I would hate to get a big surprise there. Thanks

You have different accounts. You can't have two names on a single MLife account, which is why you have different numbers. What they did was make your accounts joint due to being married/living together, however they are still treated as individual accounts, just with status matching between the cards.

We also have linked accounts. The numbers are slightly different and we have had no problems whatsoever with any of our redemptions.

Thanks for the reply. I guess that I didn't word it correctly, but that is what I was meaning to say about 'joint account'. I'm straight now. Thanks.

I redeemed on my linked accounts no problem. We have different numbers. I think it really only matters with gambling. Which even then, they pretty much look at what each individual gambles. (like me and my Mom we are linked, but we each get different offers)
