Homeless people, drug addicts, criminals and the uninformed.
Pithy, but I suspect few people visiting downtown have walked the route.
Our opinions on relative safety clearly differ. I have no trouble recommending Jerry's during the day.
A couple years ago, I did some jogging from DT to Jerry's and there was a homeless tent city for few blocks. Not sure if it is still up and running, but I felt fairly safe, chatting with a few folks. This was daytime, though. Not sure the feel at night.
Like I said earlier I visit Jerry's Nugget every trip. I have been doing so for many years and never had a problem. I'm not sure how our opinions differ. The drive up Main Street is kind of depressing, but as long as I don't have to walk there why should I care? They have a nice coffee shop with a great assortment of fresh baked cakes and pies, live Keno, $5.00 blackjack, Bingo and $10 Free Slot and Match Play coupons in the Las Vegas Advisor MRB.. What's not to like?
@EastCoastVegasFan! , my generous Jerry's offerers vanished after a few+ months.
Run it back next time we're both in town the same time?
Absolutely! That place is good, good and terrible!
I work in safety and health. Dead bodies are a two man lift.
You all have convinced me to make a trip to Jerry's nugget come the 1st of April, if this report is still alive and well I will make my accesment of the joint.
Not if you chop them up
Visit Jerry's at least twice everytime we are in town. We rent a car and drive there.
$3 craps and $1 (or maybe it was two) UTH. Roulette was 25 cents. Lots of good food and slots there. One of my wife's favorite places and in my top 5 favorite places to play craps.
The only thing I know about Jerry's, is their original playing cards are legendary among magicians. I kinda want to visit just to say I did for that alone.
I may have dinner there Saturday night. Mmmmmmmm Prime Rib, rare, blackened, and cajun spice.
