Will be staying at the Westin over the weekend this trip and was wondering if there are any Lounges that offer live jazz, big band, or rat pack style music with a fee, two drink minimum, or free? I do plan to see Big Elvis but I know he's usually afternoon-midday, I am looking for later at night. Thanks in advance! Cheers!
SANTA FE and the fat city horns PERFORMS almost EVERY MONDAY NIGHT AT THE COPA ROOM: 7700 S LAS VEGAS BLVD; LAS VEGAS, NV 89123 I love this Live Band so much.
Sorry, never heard about this and no event if I will be in Vegas. I would visit it. But I have another idea for listening good live music. BROOKLYN BOWL at Linq Promenade. Saw „The Suffers“ from Houston - wow soooo fantastic Big Band sound with fantastic singer, Trombone Shorty.... South Point Hotel&Casino, Aliante Hotel&Casino, Orleans, Red Rock, Sam‘s Town another good places sometimes for this kind of music. Gooch - almost every monday Anthony‘s Steakhouse Downtown College of Fine Arts, UNLV Las Vegas presents sometimes concerts - good choice to have a nice evening, too.
Wynn Hotel Sunday Jazz Brunch ( I guess it’s more like Dixieland music) - I had a great sunday morning. Loved it.
Sorry I didn't see this in a timely manner. The lounge at Tuscany suites has live jazz standards every night with no cover or minimum. It's an easy walk from the Westin, 2 blocks east on Flamingo.
Next stay in Vegas want to go in the underground from Mob Museum. Did read, that there will be play Jazz weekends.
My best friend is always urging me to go see Myron's Cabaret Jazz at the Smith Center. She tells me it makes for a fantastic evening of music and entertainment. We hope to get there sometime soon. https://www.thesmithcenter.com/shows-tickets/cabaret-jazz/
@ardee thanks so much for sharing this! I might have to venture there to see a show when I am there this summer!
I went to Myron's around Christmas to see Clint Holmes' show. His show was amazing, so see him if you can. Also, Myron's was a great place to to see, and hear, music. The sound was great, seating, service, just a great place for music.
Is this place just like a regular bar where you walk in and grab some drinks and hang out? Is there any VP at the bar or anything? I've been wanting to check the place out and am just curious what to expect... their website isn't very informative.
Just a regular bar. I believe there's VP at the bar but we usually grab drinks from Pub365 at the other end of the Tuscany then head here for the music. Friday nights is usually pretty good and if you search for Kenny Davidsen on YouTube you'll find plenty of videos of the Friday night performers
