Jan 7th - JET!

It is now Saturday morning and time to head down to the sportsbook to bet on the Football games. Me and I-dog throw down some cash on the Skins and Patriots. We then walk over to Sahara so that I can get an idea of what traffic would be like if I were to drive I-dog back to the airport for his 11:00am flight. It didn't look too pretty so we all chipped in $5 for I-dog's cab ride. For lunch we decided to hit up Kahunaville with the $25 restaurant.com certificate. The place was fairly dead and not all that expensive for being in a strip casino. After that we ventured downtown to take a ride on the grain train. B, D-money and I went over to the nugget with our drinks to watch the game and The Bachelor headed over to the Plaza for some $35 sit and go's. On the bachelor's way back to the Nugget he grabbed 4 more grain train drinks and we were well on our way. After the game we wondered into Golden Gate for some cheap craps, very choppy table and we all left down. It was now getting a little late so we decided to head back to the Stratosphere to freshen up for our night on the town.

After changing and getting ready we hopped on the monorail to Venetian. We had 4 tickets to the AVN awards but D-money was dead set on not going in so B attempted to sell his tickets - he got them free from a friend of his. We were just about to sell D-moneys ticket for $100 when we were offered $600 for all 4 which we accepted and headed over to JET. B had also arranged a table for us at JET and we really had no idea what time the show would get over so we would have to decide on 1 and I think that we made the correct choice. We got to JET around 10:00 not sure what time they opened and they didn't open until 10:30, we checked with the door man and he verified that we were on the list for a table and told us where to go when we come back at 10:30. From there The bachelor and B went to a 3 card poker table while D-money and I went for some food. We met back at the entrance to find a lot of people waiting to get in.

JET still seems to be very unorganized. We were the 3rd group in line at the table entrance and it took close to 1/2 hour before we were seated. Once inside the club B says that after he made $600 on those tickets that he would charge us 3 $150 and we would call it even. He ordered a Grey Goose Magnum with the appropriate mixers and we started drinking. Our waitress was very friendly and easy on the eyes to say the least. The socking boy was very cool to chat with and fulfilled a later request to get some women over to our table. After a couple of drinks the bachelor and I ventured out to see the rest of the club. I am not sure which section of the club is which, but they have 3 rooms, the main room and then 2 smaller rooms. I thought that the rooms were house, rock, and Hip-Hop. If the bigger room was rock then we were in the house room (Closest to the entrance) and then Hip-hop was the farthest from the entrance. The big room had a nice large dance sunken dance floor that was always packed. When The bachelor and I got back to the table we were suprised to see 3 decent looking ladies at the table. Before long D-money danced with 2 of them while us other 3 drank and talked to the ones that were not dancing. We are now only about 1/2 done with the bottle already buzzing and the girls have a few sips off our drinks and decide that they will stick to beer. Everytime one of the girls would come back from getting a drink or the bathroom our bouncer would ask one of us if these girls should be sitting there. Just once I would have like to have said no just to see what he would have done. It is now almost 1:00am so D-money decides to venture to the main room to get his dance groove on. We would never see him again. Now we are at a table with 3 women and 3 guys so we ended up pairing off. That is until B screwed everything else. Now I am a happily married man but it was nice talking to a local young lady about Vegas who was not interested in me buying her drinks, she just seemed to enjoy the company as well. Pretty soon I hear B ask the Bachelor so when are you getting married again. I thought you are a fool. Then I hear yup, this guy over here has been married for over 5 years. Next thing you know they all head to the bathroom never to be seen again. Now it is around 2:00 and all of our cell phones have messages on them but none of us can really here the messages to make any sense out of them. Between the 3 of us we figure out that D-money has been booted from the club and is on the way back to The STRAT . Now D-money is 6-6 280 pounds former offensive lineman for a D-1 school so he kinda sticks out and normally starts to talk a bit to much when he gets intoxicated. We decide that we should probably finish off the bottle only about 1/4 left so that we can head back. I start drinking vodka on the rocks to help us out. The bachelor heads to the bathroom and B says that he his heading to the dance floor. A couple of women start making out hard-core on the dance floor just as the bachelor returns and us 2 and the bouncer enjoy the 10 minute show. The Bachelor grabs another drink and says that he is going to find B. A couple more ladies ask if they can sit down and I said sure and we begin chatting as I see B getting escorted back to the table buy a guy 2 times the size as D-money and B can hardly walk. He informs me that this guy needs to go. I fill my drink up, slam it, try to call the Bachelor and help B out of the club. Within minutes of getting outside B is filling up the trash can. We were actually right outside the club but the taxis didn't pick up there, they just dropped off. I looked at the valet attendent and asked if he could hook us up stating that you really don't want us to walk all the way back through the casino do you. He said sorry. Finally after probably 15 minutes of calling the bachelor he shows up and I tell him it is his turn. As we are walking to the main entrance B says bathroom and ends up making a deposit in the urinal since all of the stalls in the bathroom are full. We finally make it to the taxi line and it is around 40 people deep. We finally get close and B makes another deposit in the trash can. We get to the front and the attendant says that you will be lucky if a cab will even take you guys. We are thinking great if they don't then what, the monrail is closed, we don't have a car there and it is one long walk to the stratosphere. Luckily the cab takes us on the back roads to Stratosphere only stopping 1 time so that B could let some more out. I give the driver $20 for the $9.70 fare and we drop B head first into the bed. We check the other room to make sure that D-money is back and he is so we head down and play some $1-$2 NL. I am up $120 when the starbucks lights come on and I see that it is 5:00 and we decide that we should go to bed.

 

Tremendous job. So, would you go back to JET or not?

Would I go back? It would probably not be at the top of my list. It is very similar to Light in my opinion. It seems like the 1 room is the main room and the other 2 rooms were just afterthoughts and added when they decided that they had some extra room leftover. Last year we went to Pure, RA, Light, Rique, and Tangerine and I would currently rank only rank Pure above JET and we did not have bottle service there. They played lots of great music when we were mixing it up in the main room. My top 3 that I have been to are PURE, JET, LIGHT. Next up on my list Body English, Tao and Pure again.

 

I liked Body English way better than Pure. You couldn't move an inch at Pure, impossible to get your groove on.

 

ditto, it's really nice and all, but too pretentious for me. i'm a classy girl and all, but god i wanted to slap some biches there.
