Okay, for the past 6 times I went to Vegas I go to Jaleo because it is awesomess! Here are some pics of one of those times. Again, if you must go to one restaurant, go to this one. Well...and Scarpetta. And Julian Serrano..oh dear.

They're famous for the gin n tonic. I just like it because it has an ice ball in the middle. Pretty!

The husband's drink. I want to say some kind of sangria?

This gaspacho (cold tomato soup) is sooo tasty. This picture is from last year. I went again this year and they made it with beet and it's not as good.

This paella below was obviously lobster and was the tastiest thing in the world. Since paella takes so long to cook, you pretty muhc get what they got cooking and we were fortunate enough to get this one! DSC00122.jpg

Some kind of fritter in a fun presentation DSC00121.jpg

My ex-hubby loved uni and this was his shot. I thought it tasted like detah but he gets it whenever possible and assured me it was deelish.

This was a smoke salmon thing, the brown sauce on top was sort of like a tapenade. This whole thing was so salty only I ate it because I love salt. DSC00119.jpg DSC00118.jpg DSC00117.jpg DSC00116.jpg

All in all, I'm sure it's clear: I highly recommend Jaleo!

    Good stuff.

Yeah, that gin and tonic (and the paella) is ridonkulously good. Comically priced, but sooo good.

    I just dont get it.....

Why would they put fries in a shoe?

    Not getting it.

    :(

    Is it a real shoe?
Is it someone's shoe from the kitchen?

I generally get hung up on one point if it dont make any sense to me, it happens to me when I watch movies sometimes.

I was enjoying this food review until I saw this SHOE on the dining table w food in it!

    :(

I think that's what they refer to as sole food!

Thanks for sharing. I didn't know about their gin & tonic brag until recently, so i plan on trying a few on my next trip. Should help in my pursuit of sterling level too.

Looks awesome! The shoe thing not so much. There is a fine line between artsy and disgusting, a shoe on a dining table is disgusting!
