My son is on his first trip to Vegas as we speak. I just had to share this news. On his second night there they were gambling at N.Y.N.Y., they each threw in $20.00(4 of them) and played a $5.00 5X slot. They hit 2 5X and a 7. Being novices, they had no idea what they had won. They thought it was $1200.00 and were very excited. I would love to have seen their faces when the attendant told them they won $12,500.00!!!
Being Canadian, they took the taxes off the top, which was over $3000.00. They gave the guy a hefty tip, and ended up with $2,150.00 each, and a comp for $250.00 at N.Y. steak and seafood restaurant.
They are booked at I.P. for four nights, and are due back early Saturday morning. Needless to say they are living high on the hog and having a blast.
They've hit Club 54 at MGM, The Ghost Bar at the Palms, and they were on the guest list to get into Rain at the Palms last night(that was arranged on the net) Not my thing, but they seem to be getting to every place they wanted to.
What a way to get hooked on Vegas!
He just got hired at the new Casino in the Falls, so he won't be allowed to gamble here, which is probably a good thing now.
I know he'll be dying to get back to Vegas.

Hey great news Lynne. When is the new casino going to open. I heard in the spring but do you know more of a exact date.

The only info I have on the new casino is Spring also. You can search Falls Management Company, and watch them build it on the live web cam. It looks to me like they have alot to go, but who knows.

How cool was that? What a wonderful first trip! You are right. He will be ready to get back. When you win you are ready to head right back. When you lose you can wait until next year or so before you go again. Wow. What fun!!!!
