August of last year through August of this year, 9 times..... didn’t seem like that much as it happened. 2 1/2 hour flight for me, low airline prices, I just couldn’t pass it up.

Excluding the last 12 months, we usually do ~3 trips/year to Vegas and door to door travel time (home-airport-flight-hotel) is ~10 hrs. We also manage to fit in ~5 trips/year to Biloxi or Tunica (~10 hour drive). Now that we are retired, these trips are getting easier !

In 2005 I think it was 6. Three were business-related, with one of them being two weeks.

Of course in 2020 it was ZERO!

This year actually has probably been, or will be, one of the highest! I've been 3 times this month!

Ex and I used to come here once or twice a month from San Diego though, so I would be out here like gee, 15x a year? His parents lived in Summerlin and we got free rooms on the Strip so why not? :wink2:

    It's a 4 hour flight for me.

Minimum 3 times/year. I anticipate about 7 or 8 trips this year as I have already been 3 times and have another trip planned next month. I love Vegas and there is really nowhere else to vacation these days. Flight time is 4 hours for me.

We have gone 4 times in a cal. year, 6 in a rolling 12 month period. It is 5 1/2 hrs or so if direct from Newark, a little over 6+ if we fly from local airport (Allentown) and stop in Chicago. Wife thinks flight too long for "quick visits" of <5 days. I would do it for a 2 night stay!

We were on pace for a dozen a year / monthly,
    until CV lockdown.
trying to dial it back to bimonthly if this demand surge hurts comp offers.

We SoCal so drive>fly, but then we learned JSX>drive/fly...
they added LAX - LAS recently btw

The most I have done was 8 visits back in 2018. Two of them were work visits, the rest were quick extended weekend trips. We have about 1.5 hours to the airport and it's a 4.5 hour flight from Detroit. Seems like a lot of travel time for a weekend, but we just start the party when we hit the airport. Cheers!

Vegas is a 3-hour flight away via Allegiant. Via Delta with one connection, Vegas is typically a 5 to 6-hour trip. (Delta gives us better options to pick when we depart/arrive of course)

Most trips in a 12-month period, 4. Recently our norm has been twice/year with increased bankroll. Our total bankroll for a year is the same whether we have 2 or 4 trips.

In 1983, I went about 10 times, (3 times just in May). I lived in Houston then, so these were all flights with the need to get a room (usually the Stardust).
Other than that one fluke year, my 'normal' number of trips per year back when I was single was 4.
After I got married, I dropped that to two trips a year... and I pretty much have stuck with that since.

In my early Vegas years (starting in the 90s), I was a 4-times-a-year gal.

When the 2000s hit, I pared Vegas down to 3-times-a-year.

Now that I am older and have an EXTRA urge to see more of the world (post-pandemic), 2-times-a-year to Vegas will suffice.

Four times back in early 2000’s. I live in STL, had a job back then when I had to drive 5 hours to Indianapolis monthly. Had the brilliant idea to take vacation time and fly 3 1/2,hours to LAS instead of driving 5 hours to Indy. Work put a stop to that once they figured out what out of Indy people were doing. Lately it’s been twice a year with at least one trip for 32 consecutive years.

For a long time, it was 4-5 trips a year. One year in the mid 2000s was 8, including 3 in about 5 weeks. I had tons of miles then, so flights cost nothing. Fun time.
