These were taken at a Sams Club gas station near 215 and Rainbow.

I've seen it snow three times in LV. Not very frequent, but it happens.

Sad for those of you looking for some sun! I was so whiny about the rain in January.....I know "it happens", but the snow/rain seems to be for days at a time. Not fun!

It snowed last year when we went the 3rd week in February. There was no accumulation but still. We decided to delay our spring trip to the 1st week of March. Go figure.

I've been there a couple of times when it snowed -- it didn't stick though. It's high enough and inland enough that you get occasional snowfall. Probably less now than it used to be because it's a heat island.

That town don't look good in snow. You don't care, I know.

Sounds like another Country song -

My baby left me and took the dog

I got in my truck and went to Vegas

There was snow in the palm trees

    Just like my broken heart

It's now snowed in Las Vegas twice this month... first time since 1987 that it's snowed twice in February there. One of my daughters flew down there yesterday to help a friend from Buffalo, NY celebrate her birthday. Both of them hate the winter! They brought it with them. Southwest has cancelled tons of flights today in Vegas, so if her rebooked 10 pm flight doesn't go, she'll have an extra night to "enjoy" Vegas.

Captured less than half an hour ago, this is the vie from Aria Sky Suites. Vegas is not ready for this kind of weather!

A dream of mine is to see inches of snow in Vegas. I think it would be a beautiful sight.

People out there are calling a few inches a "Blizzard" LOLOLOL Anyone in the northeast and midwest is laughing their a** off hearing that. But to Vegas's defense.. they have 4 snow plows for the whole Clark County, and no one there probably knows how to drive in snow...

Wow, I've seen snow in Vegas, but in late December . . . .

It was 50 degrees in NYC today.

It snowed all night and accumulated about 3" inches on the ground.we left this morning. My wife had a flight out that fortunately actually departed. She said they seemed to cancel about every other flight

Meanwhile I tried to Head down to phx but got stuck in the storm in Kingman. I had bought tire chains last night and put them on the car in the middle of the freeway, since traffic completely stopped. I didn't see a single other car or truck with chains, although some were 4wd. 40 was closed, so i drove south through Havasu and then east on 10. The 4 1/2 hour drive took me 11 hours.
