95 F with 61% humidity.
storms are blowing through....that might help!
It's July what did you expect
We're just slightly less hot, 92F and 51%.
Our temps are in the 60s for the second day.... and the humidity is in the 80s. Terrible week in MA.
On the way back into the house from the mailbox - 97 in the garage with the door open, 30% humidity.
6:30 pm 96 with 42% humidity feels like 102. Sitting out with an ice breeze and feels 10 degrees cooler than 2:00.
At least it is only a "dry" heat tomorrow.
But it's a wet heat...
Just had a hellacious t-storm!
11:03 pm. 93f
I miss those. Lots of rain in Oregon, but no T-storms. Had great ones in Texas...miss the smell of an electrical storm, and the sky lighting up on fire!
Breeze...if 90*< you should be working on your screen-name super powers and cooling things down....you are "Breeze" after all
Wow.. I see all of the temps are under 100(lucky bums). We were at 99-100 all this past week. About 50% humidity I think. We're supposed to have a cool front Mon and Tues. It's supposed to get down to 96, then back to 100+ Wed on.
Thu afternoon on RT 30 heading to AC car said 101. ,rained the last few days briefly, dont like lightning. Friends have had houses struck big problems.
We have a couple days in the 90's coming up this week.
The handful of days we complain about each summer tend to be the same days that we fondly remember come January and February!
Sounds like Texas-- you get that what? 10 days a year?
I guess it's like me complaining when it is 50 and I put my winter jacket on.
Low-mid 70s. Just a typical day here. Fog is burning off.
The most unpleasant summer weather I was ever in was Houston, Texas. When It wasn't broiling hot and humid, it was a thunderstorm. Without a roofed stadium, baseball would be impossible. Although the Houston Colt .45's did play two seasons before the Astrodome was ready.
Here on Oahu I'm currently working in Kapolei, the southwestern part of the island. The driest, hottest, and most humid area of Hawaii.
Humidity was 87% yesterday. I thought I was going to die.
Welcome to my world -
Current conditions at 1:15pm Sat, July 15) in my Houston suburb near Galveston Bay is:
81 Dew Point
for a heat index of 110.4!
96°/21% humidity. Supposed to hit 100° today, but I don't think it's going to make it.
The biggest problem today is all the smoke from the local brushfires. One about 5 miles away had all its smoke settle into our little pocket overnight. My sinuses were killing me when I woke up.
