This made my wife very sad. Heading that way shortly and getting a fruity crepe was on the top of her to do list.

They used to have a huge pizza for 25 bucks that you could customize. Now they have a pizza that's smaller and not customizable and you get 4 slices.. for 40 bucks it was crap

Finally caught up to this. Nice report! Dang 6/5 DDB at Bally's on quarter multiline? I knew the nickel machine was that rough. Last time I looked there, 6/5 Super DDB was available on that. That's about 3% better than 6/5 DDB.

Some final notes on the trip:

Gambling went well! After all of my expenses in Vegas, airport parking, and dog hotel, the trip only cost $110. I over played my bankroll and was lucky to not go broke. But looking at it another way I could've won big.

It's a completely different trip with bars being shut down. It took some of the fun away not being able to play VP at the bars. I also had difficulty getting on craps tables in both the mornings and evenings. The minimums I encountered were:

    Bally's $10-15
    Paris $10-15
    Linq $15
Flamingo $25 in the main area but I did see one $15 way in the back kind of near the habitat.
    Harrah's $25
    Cosmo $25-50
    Bellagio at 7 AM $15
    Aria $25
    GG $15
    D $15

I ate better and ate more often that I usually do in Vegas. The host on duty did comp off $100 in room charges on the last day. I had been spending all of my RC's at each meal then charging the rest to the room. The host did clear out my 95 cents of RC's before using back end comps.

Vegas didn't feel like Vegas. There was less energy in the casino, it felt like an anti social trip. If you're planning on going I hope you're an all day gambler. There's not much else to do.

Did I feel safe in Vegas? No, not really. I understood I was putting myself in a vulnerable situation. It was a selfish decision to go on this trip. Mask usage was pretty good overall, but so many people kept pulling their masks below their noses.

I did notice more able bodied people on scooters like others have mentioned. There was only one occasion on the strip that I had to actively avoid getting to close to them. The clientele this weekend was different than pre-covid. There weren't couples dressed up in suits and skin tight dresses. It definitely felt like a lower class Vegas.

I'm glad I went, but am unsure how I'd feel if I lost $3-4k. I'm not sure if I'd go back with the bars still closed. Typically I'm booking my next trip while in the airport waiting to board my flight home. Now I don't have any desire to plan a trip. My Vegas itch has been scratched for now.

Thanks for following along. You all made the trip feel less lonely!

Love the replay after the drunk updates! I am getting ramped up for my trip in September and I can’t wait to do a drunk trip report! Maybe do Holsteins for lunch get a booze milkshake?

Enjoying your TR! Thanks for sharing! I stayed at Ballys on my last trip to Vegas and was so pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it there. Room was large, new and so clean! And the location is perfect imo. The Creperie between Paris & Ballys used to make the best berry crepes and you're the first person I've ever seen refer to them! Hopefully they have their full menu (prepared properly) again soon.
