    My Trip Report

So it would seem I am going to do this and try write up a trip report. It's going to be boring. I'm a man of simple tastes and easy pleasure. I like to drink and do a little gambling. Also I'm very persuadable so anything goes.

This is a solo trip, my wife and kids dropped me at the airport with a warning to not have too much fun. I will endeavour to not have any fun. As I type I am sat in a bar in sfo enjoying a pre flight laguanita. It's ok. Should hopefully get to my hotel for 11ish my plan for this evening is to not have too many ore flight drinks, get to the hotel, check in, dump my bags, check out the BJ action in El Cortez and call it a night early. I do have work tomorrow!!

    My bankroll:

    Doesn't a stack of $1's and $5's look a lot?

Spread out it looks even better ;)

Well I shall get on with my pre flight activities and I somewhat promise to update as my week unfolds. It will be intermittent and probably not interesting.

Best wishes for a great time!

They wouldn't have needed to say that if they saw your bankroll.
    Slow down there, Eeyore.

It's a start. Flight out of sfo is practically empty. I still managed to get some woman with her weekly grocery shop sitting next to me. But boarding is done and we should be on our way momentarily. Vegas imma conning.

If anyone wants to meet a mad (but sweet and cuddly) Irish man for drinks and shooting the shit, hit me up.

Just about to hit the hay on day/evening 1. Nothing exciting to report.

Flight was uneventful but bumpy. Some crappy out the window shots:

Got off the plane and it was still over 100 degrees!

Lyft from airport was pleasant conversation about strip clubs. Check in for el cortez was laborious for no reason. Cabana suite is perfectly fine for the price.

Signed up for players card right away. Lost and won on some random slot machines. Action was quiet otherwise so I took a walk up to fse to grab a slice of pizza and check out if anything was happening. Went into the D and lost $100 very quickly playing a really dull and boring craps session. Got the players card but I don't feel like going back. After that it was late so I head back to the el cortez and joined a single deck BJ game with $100 - I have never played this version before and it was "interesting". Anyway an hour or so later and 4 drinks I looked down and worked out I had $100 and I decided to cut my losses (or take my winnings) and call it a night. To say the El cortez was dead tonight would be an insult to the dead.

    I took this photo:

    And this one:

Well that's it for tonight. Have a good y'all and we shall converse again sometime in the AM.

Nah. It's really cool to load $1 one at a time into a slot machine. It makes me feel so alive.

Maybe, probably, I don't want to check.

So Vegas is hot as a mf'er. I knew it would be hot but this is just stupid.

I'm on my second large iced coffee. I'm going to be bouncing soon.

Anyway must dash. I have to at least make a show of logging in and working.

i like ketpingvour expectations low at the beginning of the TR. I have a feeling this is going to be a good one.

I had a manager who would always say "under promise. Over deliver. " I have a feeling you will over deliver to us. Good luck.

On my way back to my hotel I ducked into Binnions as I need to feel the fresh aircon on my melting skin. I signed up for their player's card (sure why not?) and they gave me a voucher for a free ace in blackjack. I bought in with $20 and lost $10 on my "free" bet. I then bet $5 until I won back my $20 and walked away. Screw you Binions thinking you can take me for a ride on the promise of a free ace card!

I then won $32 on something called triple strike slot machine (I still didn't want to venture back out into the heat). So the tally today is me = $32 + a free ace card, Binions = $0 and my phone number. We all know who is winning on this one!

I just realized my photos all look washed out and blurry. I think the lens on my iPhone is knackered.

This afternoons update. I worked from my room for the morning, afternoon. Got pissed off with my boss then accidentally sent him a text about him that I was intending to send to someone else. Luckily I didn't ruin my career by saying something really bad. But I decided to sack of the rest of the day and went to the casino. Played some slots and lost then played blackjack 3 beers later I'm up $65 and decide I have my revenge on the world.

Going to head out onto Fremont street and check out some of the casinos I've never been to.
