    My Trip Report

Okay, here is the deal. Although its still 3 months away, Superbowl weekend is getting near. There is good news and bad news with this. The good news is that I am still making my annual trek to sin city for the big weekend. The bad news is my wife,Brandy, will not be making this trip wich will be a huge bummer because she is my good luck and she keeps me out of trouble, plus I have never gone without her and it just sucks that she wont be there. She will be finishing up school at the end of January and beginning her internship the week before the Superbowl. But my wife being the lovely women that she is has giving me the go ahead to go without her. She also made me promise that she will get to go with her sister a few months later in the spring. They both are going to school together and will finish about the same time.

Well, I didn't want to go alone so I asked my bud,Jody, from work to see what he could do to make this trip with me. Jody is not married but he does have a live in girlfriend, wich pretty much makes him married. So, Jody comes in to work this morning smiling from ear to ear so that means he is good to go.

So the plan is to fly out the Friday prior and fly back home the Monday after Superbowl making it 3 GLORIOUS nights. Superbowl is on Feb 6 but it is never too soon to start booking and planning. I have been searching for airfare and of course it varies, but the best price I have come up with is $158 pp roundtrip on America West. If anyone knows of anything else that might be better(cheaper) by all means let me know.

We don't know where we are staying just yet. I have been the last 4 or 5 years and have stayed mostly at the Riviera, but stayed dt at the Las Vegas club and the Nugget last year. Jody has not been in 20 years and the last time he was there he stayed at The Sands so that one is out of the question and The Venetian is to high class for a couple dudes like us. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I think so far the Las Vegas club has got the better price range and that would be fine because all we need is a place to passout and shower when we come around.

Anyways, this should be a trip to remember or forget......
