I've heard from a friend who just got back from the Wynn that intrigue is closing this summer. Haven't seen anything online about it but they have removed all events after May 29th from the event calendar. Anybody heard anything similar?

Kaos could be closing next? It literally just opened. It would make no sense for them to spend all that money building it and then close so soon after.

Is business down at the clubs?...don't forget Bank and Hyde at Bellagio are gone and going. Another shift in the LV entertainment scene.

For Wynn, the traffic at Intrigue doesn't justify keeping it open when they can focus the crowds on going to EBC Nightswim and XS. Why cannibalize your opportunity?

There seem to be a lot of Las Vegas nightclubs closing this year. I wonder if there is some systemic change going on in consumer habits or something else.

But yeah, i always found intrigue to be less fun than XS or EBC

Maybe people are doubling down at day parties and can't marathon into the night as much. I mean, two bottles between four people will have that effect. I also think they could use for isolating the club crowd away from Wynn and making Encore more the modern / nightclub-y scene and keeping Wynn a bit more sedate / introducing a loung-ier experience.

Hyde is closing for a rebrand/renovation type deal. I'm sure it'll re-open with a new name but it will still be a nightclub.

Not sure what they will do with the Intrigue space.

Is/was Intrigue the club that you'd pass if you walked to the Tower Suites entrance from Parasol Up, passing Red 8 on the way?

They're opening Delilah (a supper club) in 2020, so looks like Wynn Nightlife may be getting a face lift soon. I also think XS is getting a little long in the tooth in terms of design.

Yeah it was next to Parsol, but you pass mizumi and regular person registration. Red 8 and Tower Suites are on the opposite side of Wynn

It's so long since I've been in the Wynn, I can't remember the name of the bar/club that was on that wall as you walked along to the Tower Suites registration

There isn't one (property map above). On the Encore side, you could technically make a case for it being Encore Beach Club

I don't know for sure, but those high limit slots have been there for at least 4 years and I don't recall another nightclub that Wynn had aside from Surrender and Tryst before their current nightclubs.

It’s like they want anything to do with Wynn gone from there hotel besides the name of course

They'd be better off renaming SW steakhouse and Andrea's than closing down a nightclub. I think this is more than Wynn to be honest. Not to mention that intrigue has no inherent link to Wynn on name alone.

In the article it mentions the close ties to the people who designed it to Wynn.
