    Hi All,

I am a constant lurker in these forums and feel I should try and give back. That said I am a NBA employee who frequents LV for work and play. Every summer for the past 6 years I work the entire Vegas Summer League (this point forward will be called VSL) and wondering if people would be interested in my day to day during my time in Vegas. This TR would be primarily basketball (75%) and gamble/party(25%) related. This would certainly be a LIVE report as there is no way I would remember details afterword. Let me know if you would like to see this and if we see some interest I will go ahead and start this next week.

Thanks for all the great stories you guys and gals post!

Of course. Glad to see someone's interested in Summer League (even if it's for work), and I expect to be there as well.

    Absolutely.

Summer League is a great time and America is anxiously awaiting the arrival of the fierce Bucks team (with the BK Broiler - Bronson Koenig) & Undrafted Rookie sensation Gian Clavell's domination with the Miami Heat.

    I'd most certainly follow along.

I know about all the coaches and GMs are usually there for it. Does Phil Jackson ever go to it or does he just not care? I went the last 2 years and didn't see him.

I won't be in Vegas till August but plan to watch all the Laker games here in LA.
The Lakers will be the 2017 Summer League champs...........well, at least that's what Larvar Ball told me.

Appreciate your willingness to give us an inside look at the VSL.

I'm curious about the relationships between the rookie players, their agents and the teams they are playing for in the VSL. I'm assuming the veteran players are mostly under contracts, unless there is a free agent status. So, how do team's coaches, etc. interact with the players and their agents? This is not the Combine where nobody has been drafted or even in some cases, agents have not been signed. The whole "dog and pony" show atmosphere of the VSL seems pretty low key to an outsider. Is this the case?
