I'm living under a rock, what do I need to know about traveling domestically?

I know you need a mask,.but what about a negative test? Can you take one at the airport?

Testing or proof of vaccination isn't required for domestic travel. The airport and airlines do require a mask (no bandana or gaiters) to be worn at all times.

Just wear an actual mask. That's it. If you want to be a viral video, don't wear a mask no matter who asks you.

I know that the major airports I've been through (ATL, ORD, DEN) all have testing in the concourse. They offer a quick test but it's around/over 200 bucks.
Hopefully you won't need one but the rules change all the time.

Nothing domestic. Some cities/states do ask about your shot status (thinking NYC) and of course some events require it as well. But, travel within the U.S. (other than Hawaii) are very easy. Wear a mask - nothing else.

Nothing else? Now THAT would make for a viral video! (smileyface)

My wife just left a week ago to visit relatives in Brazil. Had to show a negative test that was taken within the last 72 hours. Of course she left on a Monday night, so the test was on a Saturday. Cost $250.

Check you travel destination(s) for testing/vax requirements. Many locales are enacting such mandates.
