I'm bringing sexyback! Dec. 19-21

I am not a writer so bare with me.
"I'm bringing sexyback!" was our theme song no matter how stupid we looked telling people that we were bringing Sexyback!
Well its been four weeks but I am finally able to write my trip report. I was driving to Vegas from SoCal with a buddy to watch another buddies Div. II college basketball games (hes the coach not a player). Also two of my friends from OC were flying in to meet us there. The drive there was nice because there was no traffic but there was construction on the 15 and we arrived at the RIO about 3 o clock. two hours later than planned. Sorry to those I said I would meet at Wynn but we arrrived a little late. We check in to our room which happens to "777" Ipanema tower. I open the drapes look out the window and see the back of Scores. We have about an hour to kill before the first Basketball game and until my friends arrive from OC so what better way to kill an hour than at a strip club! We drive to Scores, arriving at about 4:30, and start our drinking with a couple Ketel One and Tonics. After two Drinks, a half hour, and no strippers in the place we decide to leave.......then our waitress says "you don't want to leave now" we ask why and she says "its happy hour." OK its happy hour?! I ask what are the specials?" she says "ITS FREE," what? "ITS FREE!" "what about top shelf?" "ITS FREE!" WOHOO! So much for making it to the 5 o'clock Basketball game. About 10 drinks later or better known as 1 hr. we leave.
Somehow we walk into RIO at the same time as my two friends from the OC. Now we are a party of four. Two of us way Drunk.
About this time my happy hour drinks are kicking in big time. We take a taxi to Little Buddha at The Palms and eat some Sushi and edamame all in a drukin stuper. We play a little BJ, lose a little and then decide to head to the Playboy Club. Don't ask me how to get there because all I know is it costs $25 to get in, next thing I know we are playing $25 min. tables lose about a grand between three of us. Yes three of us we lost a friend one the way to the Playboy Club. Before I go on let me say that the Playboy Club is WAAAYYY over rated. To expensive and rude employees and the girls are not even that good looking. Yes, I know I was drunk but I was starting to sober up about that time and besides I am a friendly Drunk. Maybe they didn't like the fact we were bringing Sexyback!
My advise don't go to it.
We, three of us, leave Playboy Club and head to Crazy Horse Too to see some boobies. We find a seat and start to get dances from three young ladies courtesy of one of my buddies who buys us all $100 worth of dances each, sweet. Except I have been partying for a good 18 hrs now and I fall asleep during my lap dance which pisses off my stripper. She keeps waking me up and I don't like being woke up so I ask her "to stop" she already has her cash. Well I don't advise doing this somehow strippers don't like people falling asleep on them because she becomes the biggest bitch and starts bitching at me and my buddies so we decide to leave.
End of day one.
I get about 3 hours sleep before the next day begins.
All four of us meet at the cafe in Rio for breakfast and commence to drink some water quickly followed by Screwdrivers and Bloody Marys. We play Keno make new friends with the employees and start our own little party in the cafe for a couple of hours. They believed we were bringing Sexyback! Nice employees at the RIO. My previous experience there was less then satisfying in the service but they have improved on there customer service.
We then wander back to our rooms then to Paris Casino for their Texas Hold em Poker Tourney at 2 o'clock. We all four sign up for $65. By the way all the money I brought with me from the room, OOPS.
I tell my friends I suck at Poker tourneys, although I consider myself decent at poker I am just not good at Tourneys its a different type of poker. About 38 people were playing.
One hour later I am sitting at the final table and my friends are getting drunk at the bar. Calling me every 5 minutes on my cell to see if I had lost yet pissing everyone off at the table. I have never been on such a roll in my life even when I lost it set up the next hand. I was El Fuego! I was just in the groove and the cards were in a groove too. I win $504 for the tourney and it wasn't the money it was the point of winning it was freking awesome! At Paris the Poker room is in the middle of the casino so there were people watching us play at the final table even though it was just a little tourney we felt like we were on TV. By this time it is about 4:30 and guess where we go for happy hour SCORES FREE DRINKS FROM 5-6! Well needless to say we leave Scores about 10 this time and believe me the free drinks at Scores is a good business plan for them because they get there money back.
We meet our buddy the coach and his coaches at the Hard Rock play a little BJ and act the fools. We tried to bring Sexyback there but some people still just fight it??? We ended up back at Rio gambling trying to eat some food before it was all over.

Final thoughts
-We never made it to the Basketball games but they won both anyway.
-I had a stressfull year so meeting my friends in Vegas is great stress relief I laughed my **s off.
-Playboy Club sucks to my dissapointment
-December it is empty in Vegas
-Don't fall asleep on a stripper in Vegas they get cranky then
-I am know a big RIO fan
-I won a freakin Poker Tournament I still can't believe it
-Paris Poker tourneys are a great bargain
-Scores free drinks 7 days a week 5-6
-I hope I brought Sexyback to Vegas!

I cant wait until my next trip to Vegas Baby!

Great report. And I, too, feel your pain about playing with strippers after a full day of drinking. It's almost a waste of money......

*note to self* See strippers first....THEN get hammered..

Drinks on me 5-6 actually Vegas I think that is probably where I got before I went. Thanks for the line. Although my other line was FREE DRINKS AT SCORES 5-6 so much people at the tournament asked if I owned part of scores? I told them "no just spreading the word to the peps!"

 

Sounds like you had a great time. It's funny how free drinks at a strip club can get in the way of a basketball tourney. I thought the Playboy Club would be over rated.
