If you could only eat one meal in Vegas, for whatever reason, where would it be?

You don't mention anything about unlimited funds, so I'll go with SW Steakhouse, mainly because it's located in the hotel that I typically stay at. It may not be the most exquisite food on the strip, but it is damn tasty, there's a cool show that you can see from your table, and the atmosphere is casual enough that it isn't too suffocating. Their free bread is always good, as is typical of Wynn restaurants, and their Chile Rubbed Double Ribeye is a must-get every time I go there.

This assuming that you want us to mention restaurants.

Only one meal in Vegas? It'd be something at The Peppermill. Why? Because the place screams "Vegas"! There are certainly more fine dining options available, and I've come to the realization that there is not always a correlation between expense and enjoyment, but if I had to be magically teleported to a restaurant for one meal, that's where I'd be. However, I'd wanna beam in there in the wee small hours of the morning to add to the entertainment factor.

I'd also go with Mon Ami Gabi but I'd go with breakfast. I absolutely love having breakfast there on the patio during the summer when the strip is relatively serene. Second choice I would be in agreement with Electroguy. The fountain show during dinner out on the patio is a definite must. I had dinner there last November after a VMB slot pull with two great VMBers and it was a fantastic evening.

It sounds low-brow as its casual food, but if I was in Vegas for one meal, I'd probably want Holsteins. I am a suckered for a truly good burger, and a drool-worthy burger is harder to find that you think, even in Vegas, but Holstein's nailed it for me.

That, or Todd English's Olives beef carpaccio...we HAVE to have that every trip! (And a runner up is good roasted bone marrow with artisan bread. It's more of a side, but I love it!)

Probably prime rib at Jerry's Nugget.

    Why?

It's good, and it's VEGAS! When I dine in LV I want something VEGAS and not a chain that I can get elsewhere or a so-called re-creation of a NYC steakhouse.
