Today in the US, the medical industry switches over from ICD9 diagnosis code to ICD10 diagnosis codes ( well actually at 12:00 midnite TONITE ).
I am involved in LIS / HIS system interfaces between the Laboratory and whoever they deliver information to or get information from..

I have clients scheduled from 4:00 PM tonite thru Midnite tonite for making the switch.. been at work since 8:00 am preparing for all the conversions taking place.
I am hoping , wishing and praying that it all goes smooth and I can get some sleep tonite somewhere after midnite...

Hi, Packer Backer! Hopefully the transition goes as smooth for your industry as the year 2000 did for the rest of the world. In the mean time, enjoy reading some more VMB to maintain your sanity tonight!
