I thought Mandalay Bay didn't let non-guests buy admission to their pools...

So, we are trying out Luxor VS. Mandalay Bay simply for Luxor's great looking new tower suites.

Well, the one thing I'm bummed about is the pool, Mandalay Bay definitely has Luxor beat hands down on the pool.

I thought Mandalay Bay didn't allow non-guests to buy admission to their pools, except the adult pool ($50). But now MB FAQS seem to imply you CAN buy a pool pass...or am I reading the below wrong? Or did they always allow non-guests to buy access?

I do see the value of limiting to "guests only" (as they have one of the best pool complexes) so I was surprised to see the below...

I think they've allowed non-guests to buy a day pass Mon-Thurs for 20 dollars for a few years now. I believe that if you buy admission to the Shark Reef Aquarium during the week you can get admission to the beach as well. I know I was able to use myvegas and purchase an admission to the Shark Reef last year and was able to use the beach the same day.

Yeah if you play myVegas, getting a shark reef ticket is your best bet.
