I believe that I've consumed at least one alcoholic beverage on every flight I've ever taken, except 1 (out of hundreds), and that one was only because I was "on-the-wagon" at the time.

I really hope SW airlines lift the drinking ban by 6/9... surely, they learned the lessons from 'prohibition'! ;)

Yep, for once in my life I have more drink coupons than I can use so I want to use them.

SEMA Show that probably won’t happen.
The rescheduled Garth Brooks concert hopefully this time.

I always take the early flight in the morning to Vegas. Won't be the same without my mimosa.

I love having a beer (or two or three) on the flight to Vegas. Won't be the same without, that's for sure

I'm with you all on this. Up until March, I was flying weekly and while I don't drink on my flights out, I really look forward to my double scotch on my flights home. I'm assuming things will slowly go back to "normal" but I'm taking my first flight in 2.5 months next week and will be able to see how it is. Honestly, this trip next week is a bit of a get back into the travel rhythm for me.

Yeah, I can't wait till the pilots are allowed a few drinks again while flying :stir: Makes for a more mellow flight experience

    Ahem:

Code of Federal Regulations 121.575 states that:

“No person may drink any alcoholic beverage aboard an aircraft unless the certificate holder operating the aircraft has served that beverage to him.”

Could I hand them my zip lock of mini's and then have them "serve" them to me?

Of course, I would never think of violating the rules and always color within the lines, but I've known people who have (very discreetly) poured their own for decades. Even when they had free drink coupons, they considered it more "sporting" to do their own thing. Really disgusting, huh? :)

I'm not too worried about the flight. Haha I'm an expert at undercover drinking.

I think the bigger tragedy would be if the airport bars are still closed. Pre-Vegas airport beers may be expensive, but, they are the best tasting beers in the world no matter what you are drinking.

With you on this. Flying Southwest next month (not vegas) and have several drink tickets and flying MCE on American (to vegas) which comes with complimentary alcoholic beverages - would be a shame if they still don't serve drinks.
