Get a Braun series 9 at Bed Bath & Beyond. They have a great return policy plus 20% off coupon. No risk.

Adding to my post #17, the new razor (Wahl 7069) showed up late yesterday and I just tried it this morning. Thumbs up!!! You can spend a heck of lot more than the $28.45 I paid on Amazon, but doubt you'll get a better shave! And while it's a wet/dry shaver, I'll never use it in the shower. Judging from the number of times I drop the soap, it wouldn't last a day!

I've been a big fan of the brayn series 7s. I have used one nearly every day for years. Lower end Braun's are not as good.

I have a Braun Series 5. I normally shave with a manual razor. I use the electric when i want to give my face a rest from the blade or when I need new blades.

 I agree. I've got the triple head now antique Norelco and have never replaced the blades :ssst: One of the many things I like about retirement is no daily shave.
