Has anyone else been to Mandalay Bay? I can't wait to go back and see the shark 'exhibit.

    Lucky13Baby,

I'm a regular there (or at least was). Seen most of the sights, restaurants, as well as trips to 40 Deuce and Foundation Room. They have gotten skimpier with my comps lately so I might be moving on up the strip to sister property.

I highly recommend Shark Reef- worth the walk.

    BTW, nice pics.

    Great report...

..I am so ready to be there. I am a big fan of Mix its a great place to start off the nite at in Vegas especially during the summer. You can feel the heat from the strip over the windows while sipping a Vodka and & 7up. Then hit wherever...

I love Mandalay Bay. I love the rooms, the view, the restaurants, the pool.. everything but the gaming.

The Shark Reef is great if you love that sort of thing. I'm a little spoiled having grown up going to the Monterey Bay Aquarium every couple of months, and it doesn't compare to that. But it is a lot of fun and I've been several times and usually spend quite a bit of time there.

I guess the hotel made some changes. They have more places to dine and more cabanas by the pool. I'm so stoked they got more cabanas because when it gets really hot I don't want to be baking under the sun.

We have reservations for MBay next February--attending a trade show there. Last time the show was there, we stayed at Luxor because MBay was twice as expensive. But I told my husband this year since the company is doing so well (we're exhibitors) I want to stay at MBay for at least the 3 nights we have the show--we might stay at Luxor during set up but the walk in the morning is so long....Anyway, we have wanted to try it for a while, and though we won't get to try the Beach/pool areas, I am hoping to check out the spa:thumbsup: And hopefully the rooms will still be all nice from the remodels....

I'm so jealous. I didn't get to do the spa experience. I just checked out their spa on their site and wow that place is nice. Have fun getting being pampered:)
