    My Trip Report

    What a great time... [IMG]

I stayed an extra day so now i'm off to sleep. I think it was a new record of no sleep for me. 4 hours in 3 1/2 days!

    Some observations...

    - Plaza is an okay place. Not great, not bad, just okay.

    - Main Street Station buffet is awesome. What a deal at 9.95.

    - The casino marketing staff at the Plaza is wonderful. They took care of me and my part of the group VERY well.

    - Sadly, there was no Mai sighting. Everyone I asked at the LVC had no clue who I was talking about.

    - I think you get treated differently at a strip club when you arrive in a limo. And by the way, it isn't Deja EWWWW anymore... I have a fully new outlook on the place.

    - Mandalay Bay is great... Nothing else needs to be said on that!

    - Don't you just love craps virgin rollers?

Okay, thats a little bit of wisdom. I'm off to sleep, I am working tonight and I think I am still intoxicated.

    Jer,

Glad all went well with the group. Did it stay at nine? Nice to hear that the Plaza is an OK place, always wondered about the rooms, I don't need anything fancy, so Plaza would probably serve me fine, I will consider it now as a viable option for future trips. I have looked at Plaza in the past, but found a deal at Nugget both times when it was on the "short list". I couldn't turn down a $39.00 rate one time and a $49.00 rate the second time for a few nites stay at the GN. Mandalay Bay, never been but would like to stay there as well someday, always wondered about the beach....

Not a craps player, but wish I was, I gotta learn that game because when wandering thru the different casinos, and watching, it looks like such a fun game. I tried to learn a bit by watching at the Nugget on my last trip, but it was moving pretty fast and this one guy was tossing out $100.00 chips like I would $1.00 or $5.00 chips, I got distracted. This guy would have a Grand or 2 on the table at any given time. Fun to watch a High Roller....
Glad all went well, Have a beer when you get up....Nothing like the "hair of the Dog that bit ya"..... [IMG]
