    My Trip Report

Ok. This trip has been a roller-coaster, but at least I didn't get killed on the first day. BJ usually tears me up during day 1, but the good luck wishes from this board helped me out.

I usually always start off with BJ, but I wasn't going to do that this time. I started out with a slot machine and lost a bit. Then we went to the BJ table and I did ok. We were waiting for our room to open up, so we left when they called us. I think we made about 3 more trips to the BJ table during this 1st day.

Poker - I was card dead all night. 2/5 NL. Tips, blind and little pairs ate me up. I was at a money making table, but couldn't make anything. People were betting $200+ after the river with Ace high. I just couldn't catch anything.

Oh, I got got long-hauled to the Mirage. The fare was $24 and I gave him $25 and told him, "I usually tip very well, but thanks for the long-haul." He told me, " I don't need your fucking tip!" Whatever. I have his cab ID and all that, but I don't know if I should call him in.

    Cravings sucked ass this trip.

Low rolling at the Fitz sucked balls.

Binions was good to me today.

I am having a La Bayou everclear drink right now and it's good. Suprise, my non slot ass has played a lot of slots and they have been good to me.

We're heading out to the pool here at the Mirage. I haven't been got fucked up yet, and I think that is the reason I am only down about a grand.

    More later.

    Thanks.

If the tables aren't being kind to you sometimes you just gotta mix it up with some slots or VP. Everclear will make you not care about being long hauled. Definetly, report him; if there was no reason for the extended trip.

Good luck! And turn in that cabbie---do it for all of us who have been long-hauled and were too stupid or drunk to get the ID :peace:

    Easy does it!

".....but at least I didn't get killed on the first day. "

DAMN! was all I could think after that statement.
Down a grand the first day? Yikes!
But of course a grand to you might be like 5 cents to me.
I'm glad you're checking here on the board and maybe all the good karma from around the Earth that we send you will have a positive affect on your stay.
I'll be watching for your post about hitting "the big one!" Good luck!!!

    I wished I was there!

As I reside in Tennessee....I'm assuming "over there" means across the Mississippi river!!!

It's 10:00 p.m. in Vegas and you're on the computer?!....you ARE pretty f'd up at the moment. :haha:

    ENJOY!!!!!!

Man, sorry to hear Cravings sucked. Can you give a few details on what went wrong? Was it dinner or lunch? I was looking forward to hitting it when I'm there next month.

Yes, I was in the room using my aircard at 10 or whatever time I typed that last message. We got started with the booze very early that day. Sorry for the profanity that I used during those last two posts.

We're still here, we'll be leaving tomorrow at 7pm. We didn't do a whole lot of gaming today. We did a ton of sightseeing, as we have one on our friends with us that has only been here one time before.

We got here on the 1st around 1pm or so and ate at cravings pretty close to when we got here. It was brunch and not too good. However, we went tonight and it was very good.

When I say low-rolling at Fitzgeralds sucked, it was because I didn't win anything. BJ, slots and VP were very bad for us. It's nice to hit something every now and then. Oh, and those players cards look bad, at least to me.

Poker has still been very bad. I usually lose at the BJ tables and make a little back in the poker room. I've had maybe two or three losing sessions at the poker room, during all of my trips. I haven't had a winnng session on this trip. I hit trips on the flop, players goes all-in, I get rivered by a straight. <- Just one of many times where I get my money in with the best, only to get beat. $70 SNG last night here at the Mirage. We're down to three of us and I am the short-stack, top two get paid, I am in the SB, player to my right goes all-in, I call with pocket aces and he has Q10o. 7-2-10 flop, don't remember the turn, Q on the river. It's just my poker luck this trip.

I am up at the BJ tables and probably close to even at the slots. I used to talk crap about people playing slots, but they're fun and a nice change. I hit the Top Dollar bonus. I hit some bonus on a hamburger and then rolled the dice up the bun. One night I played some let it ride and didn't have one paying hand, so I colored up and hit up a $5 dollar slot with some kind of 7's and did nice on that. Nothing to really write home about, but I am having fun with them.

I have a lot of pictures to post when I get back home, we don't have a USB cable with us, or I would post them now.

I'll get more into detail when I have a little more time and a more clear mind.

    Later.
