By chance, has anyone heard from or seen Hunter or know if he's still around? I emailed him a few weeks ago and have heard nothing back from him.

Wasn't anything major, just a few simple questions. Maybe one of you guys could answer. I have about $200. in RC's on my account, can I use them to cover the resort fees for the 3 nights ( room is comped). If so, do I indicate this when I check in or do I reach out to a host when I'm getting ready to check out? For all the times I've been to AC and LV I have never done this. Don't know why.

If I do it at check out, would it be appropriate to ask about back end comps at that time. I use to have a host, Barb, but she's retired, and honestly, I never really asked her for anything.

Thanks guys:kiss:

200 RC's is only 2 bucks and yes you could put them towards the resort fee. I have never had a problem using RC's at check out.

Lol, no I have $200. in RC's (20,000 RC's).. Guess I should have put the $ sign ahead of the 200. But thanks!

No problem having them apply the RC's to cover resort fee's. I have done it many times upon checking out. I don't think they can do anything but apply RC's at checkout. You would need to see a host or visit the TR desk for any back end comps.

Hunter is still around. I am thinking he may reqret posting here. If the posts folks make on this site are any example of the emails he gets, he must be swamped with what I would call "petty stuff". So many of the questions are answered on this board. His job is to bring in bucks to the casino and not spend all day with minor stuff. These guys are not day to day customer service reps.

Okay... shared what I think happens to Hunter and many other hosts that do not seem to respond to every email.

Add to the above, this is the busiest time of year from New Years to the Superbowl and all hosts with a big book are swamped. Now add on the March Madness it's tough to get a response from any host, just contact VIP services if you need to talk to a host, they are really good at answering questions on the phone........Rick

I visited Diamond check-out to locate a host to inquire on back-end comps at the end of my stay. Of course they had to use all my RCs first before looking at add'l. You never know what you will run into. At Ballys I got 'oh is that all she wants?' - it was only $87. Comped off immediately. At Flamingo I got a sneering host who was annoyed because they called him in. He stared & stared at the screen & I got a 'Well....................It is what it is' for my $77 in room charge inquiry. Despite the fact he was rude & sneering, I know back-end comps can be done so I will ask in the future and just hope for the best.

So as long as you are prepared for either a yes or no response, then go for it!!!!!!

I sent him an email in January and the first time he got back right away to me, but I haven't heard back since the 17th.

I talked to him at the end of last year and he said he was super busy and hadn't been back on the board in some time, but planned to when things were less crazy at work.
