How would you theme your casino?

How about an Australian theme? Outback Steakhouse, kangaroos and koalas, Barrier Reef shark tanks, Steve Irwin attire for the dealers and the outside based on the Sydney Opera House. Tier levels can go from Bogan to Bloke to Eastie.

The tier levels are easy to figure out - lowest is obviously a red card and if you have one and are at a table with a bunch of people with yellow and blue cards you are killed immediately.

I'd still like to try my hip-hop themed casino, but what I'd like to do is a European casino theme.

Imagine a walking street like Fremont or the Linq Promenade. There are shops and restaurants, of course, but there are doors to several mini-casinos. It's really all one big casino, but each section is arbitrarily divided and given a theme for a different country. England, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Russia, Greece....you can walk between the sub-casinos, but you might have to go through a door (or an underground tunnel to cross the street without going outside).

Each section has an associated restaurant for that country's cuisine. I'd put table games in France and maybe one other section. Sportsbook in England.

No, but the non-stop didgeridoo music might get to some people.

I would go with "Broken Dreams". Proprietary machines such as "Diaper Money" or "Just Need One Win". Machines say things like "Timmy needs braces, time to up your bet!" or when you lose it says "Time to regret life's choices?"

Add "double or nothing" features to all machines. Win $7,200 on Caveman Keno? You get an immediate fair 50/50 offer to double or nothing.

You're not kidding. This one looks like he should be working as a bouncer at Spearmint Rhino. Maybe they can use them as security.:haha:

I just want the Aladdin back. Will always be my favorite resort. The new Aladdin really did a beautiful job with the theming during that time. I could only imagine what level of design could be accomplished in current times.

Secondly, I’d love to see MGM turn Mandalay into the new Mirage but then again, they could never design anything up to par with the details and quality of material Wynn would use. Everything MGM revamps always looks cheap or muted.

At this point make a Disneyland hotel on the strip, but keep it on the south side.

I think there's definitely an easy win to come up with a 'Vegas Theme' for any new resort - perhaps if/when Tropicana gets rebuilt it would be a good candidate as it already has a well known name with lots of history.

Circa almost did it with having the Vegas Vickie neon sign inside, but you could take it much further on the neon front (although not perhaps as far as the Peppermill theme posted above) and add a Rat Pack, Elvis and Wayne Newton soundtrack. Get the rights to defunct resorts for the names of towers or restaurants (eg. Frontier, Westward Ho!, Stardust, etc) and there's an open goal for having a pudding eatery named 'Dessert Inn'.

The one that comes to mind, has already been done and it was very successful before being willfully destroyed.
I am going with Stardust themed.

Feels like Circa went for a modern take on the classic Vegas vibe but couldn't quite nail it.
