How soon can I smoke weed in Vegas?

Are they going to make some crazy law like prostitution where it is only legal outside of the city?
 
What's the deal in Mass. ?......is it legal there ? now,too ?
There's gonna be a lot of NY license plates driving into those border towns !
 
Based on this post, it could take some time. Regulators can take their sweet time. One would think they could just what a few other states have already done and pretty use that.
 
January 1st it becomes Legal to smoke and possess the amounts stated. Buying from dispensary or other outlets most likely 18'. It's the buying from places that takes time.

Yeah, that could be a dealbreaker for me. I'm close enough to local casino's in the midwest, so I don't have to go to Vegas to gamble.
 
Colorado and Washington state do not allow consumption in public areas - so smoking in casinos is surely not going to happen - at least that is my thinking.
 
@paperposter, I read that the medical shops get to be the first to sell recreational marijuana and then they will open new recreational shops after that. Are you seeing that info too?
 
Trust me, us old dopers now it. You can't fool everybody.

Give me the pot "stench" over second hand tobacco smoke any day - it might even make the smell in the Plaza bearable....

Correct after around 18 months expect they will open too all new aplicants.but medical will transform first. There's a place next to sls the hardrock and the palms are the closest to the strip open now. Alot off people don't know if u have a medical card from another state u can use it in Nevada now
 
Tobacco 2nd hand smoke is more dangerous than cannabis.

Just walking thro Az Charlies was enough to make me have to shower...
