How much walking when staying at Aria?

Another option once at Park MGM is to bang a right as soon as you are in the casino from the Aria/Park MGM walkway and there will be doors that will pop you out between TMobile and Park Theater. From there, it's a short walk across the street to The Park with all the restaurants with NYNY entrance next to Beerhaus. The doors that I speak of are near the old sportsbook (I think the new HL room is nearby and so is the large center bar).

If I am walking from the south strip northward, I actively cross at New York New York to avoid having to walk thru city center.
I go to Vegas 2-3 times a year and have been in Aria once..while it was very nice.. it was a pain to walk into.

I should probably give it another try but I cant imagine it gets a ton of walk thru traffic..
I walk into Cromwell, flamingo, linq and Harrahs every time I am near them just because of how quick you can duck in from the strip.

I know I’m an Aria honk, but I never get the “it’s too far from the strip” comments. I would say it’s very similar to Bellagio, Caesars, V/P, Wynncore and MGM. Cosmo is the only upper tier property that your right on top of the strip.

If you are going out to the strip to actually walk the strip, who cares about the 10 minutes it might take to get to the Blvd.

Disagree, as the ParkMGM casino is a giant underwhelming blight of a casino, at least until it is done.

This x10. I don't think the walk from Aria much farther than Bellagio, Caesars, or Wynn from the strip.

My two cents? If it is a longer walk... so what?

Hahaha, that's why I love VMB....if you think it but don't want to say it, someone else will.

Im not a high limit gal, but walking the strip always irritates me a bit.

Between navigating through porn slappers, to fending off the "take a pic with me for $20" crowd, to avoiding gummed up, dirty hand rails (and I'm not a germaphobe) ... to being stuck behind a herd of Lookie Lou's walking in a horizontal line...strip walking always is a little bit of a downer for me.

I don't mind the walking....it's the shock value of going from pampered fun and glitz, to a more grimy, pushy, depressing side that I don't enjoy as much...

Oh yeah... kids...get off my lawn!

PS...On Aria...it's a walk to the strip...but not outlandish. Just be careful of where your rooms are....their hallways feel longer than any hotel I've stayed onstrip!

I stayed at Aria last year and would only stay there again if comped and no better options. While some say "who cares if you have a longer walk to the strip" or "I don't like the strip", for others, the ability to walk out and be on the strip quickly is a top priority (and imo, rightfully so!). I found getting back and forth to the strip a real hassle. I have also stayed at MGM, Mirage, Encore, Bellagio, PH.....PH and Mirage are quickest and easiest for getting to strip imo. Encore took forever to get anywhere on the strip I wanted to be (though the rooms were gorgeous), MGM was like a big maze to get out of, and Bellagio can take some time to get to strip, but not as long as Aria, and when you do get to the strip, you are right in the centre of things, which I like!

The green line looks like it is going into Cosmo and not even sure if you can cross the road there anyways.

The shortcut to Bellagio is out the back valet door of Aria, then around that semi circle into the front door of Vdara. Then right through lobby out the back door or Vdara and under the tram station into Bellagio.

Nostresshere has it right. My wife and I timed it once, from Elements at Aria to the Bellagio Casino, the walk took us approximately 5 minutes.

Also, the tram between Bellagio/Crystal's and ParkMGM has proven to be basically useless, if you are mobile, as it is always quicker to walk between the destinations.

I think the tram to Bellagio is very useful. Going thru Crystals and Cosmo is a PITA.

I am editing this to clarify that really Crystals is the PITA here, not Cosmo. It takes forever to get through and it is so nondescript. I don't mind malls if they have character like the Forum Shops or the Venetian or PH, but Crystals is just so boring.

The point is that you don't go through Crystals and Cosmo. It's a 5 minute walk to Bellagio from Aria (through Vdara).

It takes longer to walk to the tram than it does to Bellagio from Aria.
