We do too much other stuff during the day to do much day-drinking.

Drinking is a big part of my gambling, but as I get older I drink less and less, I can easily drink from dinner until bed if my husband
    doesn't stop me, he isn't a drinker.

I never was much of a drinker, so that carries over to Vegas also. Although, that doesn't mean that I don't have an occasional drink every now and then.

I also drive quite a bit when I'm in Vegas, so I never drink and drive ...the last thing I want is to spend my vacation with Vegas's finest, sitting in a jail cell with a DUI arrest. LOL

Overall, I drink way less than I used to.
But I feel like I drink a lot in Vegas!
I LOVE that there is NO judgement if I have a drink in my hand before NOON!.
I love ordering a HUGE frozen drink at the pool.
    I won't drink the YARDLONG drinks though....I don't like sh*tty rail liquor!
Walking around LVB or FSE with a drink in my hand and everyone else is too!
Vegas is the only place I actually go to Happy Hour for drinks and appetizers.
It's always Happy Hour in Vegas.

I usually have a car with me, so I do a "detox day" where I get out into nature and do a nice long day-hike to sweat out all the Captain Morgan. This will be the first trip in a very long time I won't have a car with me. Could be a problem. I may need one of these "cool down" days.

I really do not drink. But once or twice during the summer, I might buy a six pack or two. I have never been big into alcohol. But, now health reasons drastically limited my drinking.

Same as home but it starts 3 hours earlier and ends 3 hours earlier also. But coffee first is an absolute given in any time zone...
That first beer at the Rio sportsbook bar is where the bartender throws out my half-empty Starbucks cup and it could be 9 AM there...and the new day begins..

I used to drink a lot more in Vegas. I always get a large Fat Tuesday and walk the strip at some point. When I'm gambling I'll either order a vodka cranberry or a light domestic beer. I try not to overdue it since I want to enjoy my trip.

I think the closest I've come to a full days drinking is about 22 hours, starting at 8am with malibu-pineapple juice, switching to ultra light beers in the afternoon, a couple glasses of red wine with supper, then the decent into madness of the evening with jack and cokes and bourbon rocks finally ending the evening with bourbon-redbulls until a pedialyte in the room around 6am. I think it would be somewhere between 25 and 35 drinks total or in Binge-drinking measurements a 1/4 Boggs or a 1/10th Andre

I pulled a similar move off in May, but not because I was really drunk. More like I didn't feel like walking 15 minutes to TAG (where STP Bonus was best). Instead I hit Aces w/234 on Super DDB at Cosmo since we hadn't played there all week.

    This is mostly me.

Same here – I always start at the bar and switch to non-morning drinks after hitting the tables. All-in-all, I drink much more than I should, half what I could, but almost never get s**t-faced. Gambling makes me nervous; and if not for some "lubrication", I'd be betting scared; and scared betting is as bad as over-betting. It's a delicate balance. :)

OMG, that comes to an average of 19 drinks per day per person!

I would be totally worthless on less than half of that!

    Way too much...
I usually go overboard day 1 "by mistake"...then days 2-4 i try to moderate, but we often start pre-noon, and go as long as we can; usually slows after a late dinner simply because we are tired, and there is no physical room in the belly ('cause we probably eat too much too!) I need a new strategy

This trip day 1 I decided gin martini was my drink of choice...w no real dinner to speak of, after a long day of travel, lets just say I lost count. it took a bit to get going the next morning...
