After a 20+ year hiatus, we started going to vegas again. Three trips in the past year. Another planned for April. We are gold+ until 2015 (maybe platinum if we play enough until next October). After each visit, the offers have been better. The bankroll is about the same for each trip (approximately $3000 for 4/5 days). Our games shift from craps/slots/roulette. A mix of everything. We stay at MB. The first offer was a king room and 200 rc. The second offer was king spa +300 rc. The latest offer is room (suite if available) and 400 rc. The questions are: Are we receiving the max? or Can we expect even better offers in the future? or Are we receiving too much?

Welcome back to Las Vegas. Since Gold is up to 75,000 Tier credits, I will assume you had about 25,000/trip over the past 3 trips/yr. You will get lots of questions about your play, time, stakes, etc. But, I feel confident saying that in my long experience with MGM that your comps are the best they are going to be at that level. Enjoy it while you can! :)

Sorry. We got gold in 2 trips last year. Our 3rd trip was in October where we got gold in the first try. Its hard to describe our play, as it is all over the place. I think that with the tier multiplier it was much easier to get to gold in one trip (80+ tier credits).

There is no tier multiplier for MLIFE. But, there is much discussion recently about TC's being inordinately high recently. 80k in TC's for your Oct trip seems to be consistent with about 3 free nights at MB and [STRIKE]an ornament for the tree (oops that is V/P)[/STRIKE] and $50-$100 FP at best.

Sorry about the tier multiplier comment. Thanks for all of the responses. If we take a suite with our next visit, will our future comps decrease? Or should we take as much as we can get now?

I think your offers are good considering your bankroll. Mine is similar, and I used to stay at MB/THEhotel a lot and I never got an offer as good as the last one you mentioned (although I also never had a problem getting 5 nights comped by a host).

MGM seems to be tightening up on offers, so I'd say you're doing pretty good, you must be getting a lot of play out of your bankroll.

Can you get more? Never hurts to ask, but the last offer you got is solid. And you can take it and not really worry too too much about your play - they have ways of smoothing out your play over several trips so one trip with lower play won't hurt you too much. Although if your play remains constant, I wouldn't expect the offers to get better, either.

At MB you are probably doing the best you are going to do with the bankroll described. Do you have a host? If not I would look into getting one. Also you may do a little better if you moved to one of the other MGM properties, (i.e. NYNY or Monte Carlo). MB is one of MGM premier properties and NYNY and Monte Carlo are considered a primary property. I have chosen to be a big fish in a little pond (i.e. Monte Carlo/Hotel32) and I do very well with my comps with my host. Otherwise I think you are doing fine at MB.

The clarity is great!!! This is just a corporate offer. I don't think that I am big enough to get a host. But if getting a host means even more (in terms of comps) then I will look into it. In some of my emails I get 2 separate "hosts" that offer to get in touch with me. I assumed that these are just spammed out to every one. If I'm wrong could you let me know.
