We've never had a trick or treater in the 21 years we've lived here. I always get candy though. I figure if some kid comes out in the middle of nowhere, makes it up that long driveway in the pitch black, climbs over the gate and then manages to get past the dog, he deserves candy!

We got about 30 or so and live in a gated community! First year in this house, so that was cool!

Not sure; I had 50 full size chocolate bars, 50 bags of chips, 50 Oreo minis and 400 + mini chocolate bars and assorted candies. The first 50 got the good stuff, one of each...the rest I handed out as I saw fit. I guess around 120 kids before I turned off the lights as they were being driven in.

I was in class, but my Ring told me a grand total of 4 (possibly 6 as I think some were siblings).

We usually get around 350. Our neighborhood is in a slightly wealthier area surrounded by poorer areas, so we get a lot of visitors. I love buying a ton of candy and watching their faces light up.

We had about 3 groups of kids here in Chicago. Why? It snowed a little. Many suburban communities postponed trick or treating until Saturday. OH NO we must not have our children get a little cold. Modern parents are raising their children to be soft little marshmallows

New development so we only had about 40-50. Sure it will swell in next few years when the empty parcels across get built.

We did a zombie theme with a 180” projector. Neighbors did a haunted house. We did pretty well for our first year.

We had absolutely awful weather (heavy rain and 40MPH winds) and had 10 kids. Last year the weather was perfect and still only saw about 25. We used to go all out and decorate up and create a small haunted house in the garage but we don't bother anymore.

Just 1-- we were supposed to get really bad storms and the news was telling everyone that all trick or treaters should get back inside by 7pm because these storms could come in really fast...This kid who was alone came at 7:30 lol....luckily enough these storms were delayed so he probably was ok!

Between 50 and 60, when usually there is over 100. The weather was cold, so fewer kids (and houses handing out candy.) Have a ton of leftover candy that I brought to work to give away.

Zero! I had surgery early yesterday morning, left all my lights off and disconnected my doorbell hoping not to be disturbed. I did see a couple parties come to the door anyway on my security cameras. Makes me wonder about parents these days. Hate to be a grinch but needed to get surgery out of the way in time to heal for Vegas. I leave in 3 weeks and 2 days!

Havent booked this yet but already paid for the flight. It'll happen.
    Giving thanks in style again!

Surprising that the kids are not taught that no light means no T or T.

Our small city limits it from 6-8. It was supposed to be stormy last night in our part of MA, but the bad weather held off until 9.

In the past 2-3 years we have gone from 50 down to 0. Nobody comes into the neighborhood. We are guessing that the churches now offer the limited Halloween party with T or T so people feel it is safer for the kids to be doing that.
