I usually play VP at the same bars so the stewards(bet you haven't herd that term in a while), just keep them
behind the bar..... they know i'll be Johan Sebastian.

I always have a lot of cards printed before I start playing. Then I intentionally leave them in machines when I move to a different machine in the hope that someone won't notice and begin playing major dollars on my card. Not sure whether it has ever really worked or not ...

I will say I have never been made aware of an unexpected W2-G.

Does anybody worry about freeplay or points being used by somebody else when you lose your card? I've left my card behind a few times but I'm not a serious slot player so that's likely why.

I will say that a friend of mine left his card in a machine one night and when he checked his account the next day all of his points had been used up.

I use a lanyard, the cord type not the springy kind. I sometimes even get dorkier and wear it around my neck.

I did lose some many, many years ago, but I seldom play a machine down to nothing, so I've gotten pretty good about hitting the cash-out button and then removing my card while the TITO is printing out. I hate the feeling of leaving any machine empty handed, so I TITO out even at a small number just so the others at the bar think I won something!

You should have a PIN number to access the free play or other information. So I would think not.

Same here. I was told I was almost at my limit during my last trip. That said, what's up with casinos not giving out free bungy cords anymore? I know that would have cut down on my left behinds 4sure

I've gotten pretty good at remembering to remove it from the machine since they start charging for parking. I did notice that when I attempted to use my Mlife card it said it was expired since I lost my pearl status

Probably enough to re-tile our entire master bathroom at the condo.

This thread has inspired me to get a bunch of blank player's cards, tape a piece of paper that says "You've been chosen. Come to 28-165 at midnight to meet the others." to the bottom of each one, leave them in slot machines/bartop VP machines, and see how many people actually show up. Kind of like the beginning of Rat Race.

I've lost, no lie at the very least 150 cards. I've gone to get a new one five or six times in a day many many times. The wife knows to say "don't forget your card" every time she sees me leave a machine. I've also thrown quite a few in the trash in disgust on my way out the door.

I've lost a few but hate trekking to the players club so I'm pretty careful to take out the tito, if there is one :( then take out the card before I get up.
I've given up on lanyards cause it's harder to get a clean card insert the first try with the dangling cards in the way and tired of adjusting the cord so it doesn't hang directly in front of the screen - yep, I've become a prickly pear in my golden years, little things like that bug me :drooling:.

More than I can count. The worst was when I played a whole day of quest for rewards on someone else's card. At some point throughout the day I sat down at a machine that someone had left their card in and continuously removed and inserted the random's card as I traveled down the strip trying to earn badges.

    Work trip turned long weekend.
    Second part, Downtown.

Quite a few in the early days but very rare now. I also once left $200 in a machine along with my card, what a clown! and a kind gent chased me to the mirage entrance with the ticket!

I almost lost $100 at the Orleans because of my absentmindedness. I was playing on one of those "Young at Heart but old as Methuselah" days when they called my name for the drawing. I proudly strutted up to the stage only to realize I didn't have my card. I ran back to the machine and made it back to collect. I figure I earned that $100.
