Haha I like The Hacker's Paradise. Some funny golf talk and banter on there. I like their reviews on clubs too.

Tried a few, dropped off of the other ones for the most part, and stuck with VMB.

I go look at some now and again for info on trips we are planning or issues I need assistance with (like how to do something or maintain an item) but most I am not a member of and, of the ones I am a member of, my visits are wildly inconsistent.

This place? I visit almost every day.

After visiting Vegas for a few years without a clue, I hit the jackpot when I found VMB. This is it for me.

I do use Cruise Critic for new info when planning a cruise once or twice a year.

    Ditched fb years ago.

Only VMB, with an occasional visit to VF to scroll through. Before VMB was 2+2 years ago, and that's almost the definition of a toxic environment. VMB was a breath of fresh air by comparison.

Prior to 2+2 (which is going back quite a bit now) were a couple of more "geek" centric boards. Out of curiosity, I just found that one of them still exists, and I somehow remembered my login. Looks like it's been 12 years since I last posted there.

Not Vegas related, but I was a member of a pro wrestling forum in the late 90's that really functioned as more of a pop culture forum until it died a slow, painful death around 2009 when trolls took over and there was zero moderation. Met some great friends on there and continue to chat with one of them to this day.

I'm a member of a few private Las Vegas Facebook groups and 20% of the content is great, the other 80% is "I'm coming to Vegas in a week. Which hotel is better? Circus Circus or Cosmo?"

I'm part of a forum that is career specific and it's the most negative place I've willingly joined. I barely ever log in and check it for new information and usually wind up logging off within a few minutes for months on end.

I'm really happy with VMB. Everyone does things their own way and nobody attacks them for it. Moderation is solid and plenty of information to be found, especially if you can figure out how to work the search feature.

Damn. I had forgotten 2+2 ~ Thank God! And you are so correct calling that the definition of a toxic environment.

2+2 really used to have a lot of good content back in the day (maybe 10 years ago?), but is mostly unreadable now filtering through all the BS and crap

LVA to VMB. And that's it. From what some of y'all post about other Vegas boards it sounds like National Enquirer actually has good sources.

This board is the only one that I visit daily but I have a few others that I visit regularly (even if sporadically).
    The others are:
Saints Report - (New Orleans Saints football)...............visit every couple of days
Blonde4ever - (LV & gambling forums).................visit every couple of weeks
WWTBAM - (Who Wants To Be A Millionaire forums) This was the first forum site I ever visited back years ago (Regis Era) when I was trying to become a WWTBAM contestant..visit every month
Biloxi One - (MS Gulf Coast & gambling forums)...............visit a couple times a week even though the site has withered on the vine down to almost nothing after Covid
