I tend to play too much games instead of sticking to just a few, it always get me pissed that I didn’t stop earlier. Don’t get me wrong, I know when to quit and I don’t play beyond my means but some weeks as the games go on I see another game that I like and play, sometimes playing as much as fifteen games and that’s only Saturdays. I just like the thrill of watching a game that I have a wager on. How many games do you bet on?

It depends on what games I like. I follow college football pretty closely, so this weekend I will probably do 4-6 games that I like. I usually avoid the pros, too hard for me.

One or two for larger wagers. But on an NFL sunday will do a few $20 4 or 5 teamers on all the cards (Ties win, teaser, superteaser). They usually include a late game to perhaps hedge the bet and cash some kind of $$
I also like to parlay a favorite and a dog with the ML

I try to stick to 3 or 5 (always odd numbers) for my big SU bets then for all the other games I like but don't love I'll do small parlays, one for the early games and one for the afternoon, that way I always have action and I'm not tempted to do something stupid. During the week I only bet prime time games if I see an edge and I rarely bet the top 25 in College.

Reminds of a march madness years ago where aftet watching college ganes all day, I told my buddies i needed to chexk my nba bets. One of them asked, which games did you bet? My answer .... all of them. Lol.

But my typical nfl week, i usually make anywhere between 3 to 6 wagers

I've never understood the famous, "late game hedge".

If hedging is what you plan on doing, why not just win the parlay on the early games? Less hoops to jump through.

2 games per trip at most...if my team plays that weekend, and a bet against the team I hate most (which happens to be my travel buds team).

I can’t wait to get to Vegas to play some college games! I tend to play less in Vegas due having to paying up front vs pay or collect after the weekend. I agree with most that pros are harder to analyze therefore I make less bets (still bet up to six games on Sunday):peace:

On a weekend, 4-6 NCAAF. 3-5 NFL. 3-5 NHL. Usually $20 per game, maybe some at $10 or as high as $50. Even a small wager on a game makes it more fun to watch.

On NFL games, I like to take a 4 prong approach that gives me a whole day (usually) of entertainment - and on occasion when the stars align, give me a shot at a significant payout while risking a max loss of under $1,000.

    1. Bet $300 single team moneyline/or spread on the game that I have most confidence in.
    2. Bet $300 3 team parlay (usually includes the team in #1).
    3. Bet a flyer and bet $100 on a 6,7 or 8 game parlay (does NOT include the team in #1).
    4. Bet a 3-step real parlay. $220 on a single team in the morning games (sometimes #1, sometimes not), if/when they are assured to win, bet $440 on an afternoon game, then if they win, bet $880 on the Sunday Night game.

I have no set number of games. It all depends what comes up in my analysis.

For example, last week in the NFL, I had 2 bets. This week I have 6 bets.
