How long would it take to visit and place a few bets at every casino on strip?

Ive been to Vegas a ton of times but next trip will just be one buddy and me. we are both pretty young and in good shape and can walk fast and were thinking about doing a strip casino crawl visiting every casino and playing a few spins of roulette or some other games just for the challenge and say we gambled in every strip casino during the trip.

How long do you think it would take? i estimate about 30 minutes for each casino which includes walking to the casino from the previous casino -- some will be longer and some will be shorter. i think we would spend about 20 mins inside each casino to play a few spins of roulette and cash out but I may be underestimating. but with 30 mins in each casino it would take about 14 hours -- probably do it over 2 days.

    What do you think? :peace:

i think your estimate is pretty close. Maybe a little shorter if you don't get sidetracked like waiting for a beer.

I've done strip crawls with the goal of having one drink in each place at a machine. In the end, averaged about an hour a casino, but we took our time about it. Around 30 minutes per sounds right for what you described, but would definitely try this on a quiet weekday if you can. On a busy Saturday, you could spend 30 minutes just cashing out chips.

I used to walk the Strip in the morning and 30 minutes is a reasonable estimate if you don’t get hung up waiting for a comped drink. You’re going with the gamble every casino, I’ve read reports about a drink in every Strip casino which took about thirteen hours. Efficiency recommendation: Carry your own bottle and cash your winnings the next day.

    The biggest variable is drinking.

If you are going to have a drink or two. And if you are waiting for the next "free"drink to arrive.

Yea, drinking would change everything. I feel like on the east side of the strip you can get in & out pretty darn quick at most of the properties. I bet you could do Trop/MGM to Wynn in 5ish hours if you stuck with the plan of 20 minutes of play per casino.

    I've done this.
    Took 2 days.
Day 1 - North to South - East Side of LVB
Day 2 - South to North - West side of LVB
Gambled $20 and had a drink in every casino.

I also do this downtown every trip.
HUBS and I like to make it a challenge.
$20 to gamble in 20 minutes in every casino.
    Takes us about 6 Hours.
We put our wins/loss in an envelope.
At every casino- At the end of 20 minutes. Winner gets to draw something on the losers face with a marker.
At the end of challenge whoever won the most gets to decide what we do with the winnings.
    It's a lot of fun.

I did the walk one day. Walk in one pull on the ol slot then cash out. Get a free pen and hit the next one. I think I hit about 20 or so in one day. Killed some time and was kinda fun for sure

Why would you want to do this?

Too much moving around for me. I might spill my beer.

you're still on the junior varsity team, we get drunk and super glue the loser's face to the carpet.

Just get a "traveller" for your drinks (red solo cup) as you walk between properties.

I did something like that, walking from P-Ho to Peppermill then to Circus Circus.

Some were hit and runs, some I lingered longer (back when Casino Royale had $1 Michelobs). It was fun.

I do a variation as well.

Always on first full day, Uber to Peppermill, then walk south on LVB to Encore, Wynn, Pallazzo, Venetian, Casino Royale, Harrahs', Linq, Flamingo. Usually by that time, I'm due for a nap and pool time at The Mirage. After dinner, if I eat dinner, I tram it to TI and spend the rest of the evening. By then, my ass is ready for bed. Nightcap at The Mirage main bar. Nighty-night.

I did this a few years ago... to collect $1 chips from every casino in the strip. It takes a lot longer than one would think, especially when walking. It might also get quite expensive. There are about 30 casinos on the strip - not counting the ones that are just off it. Some of the huge casinos would take 10-15 mins just to get into the gaming floor.

Explain "slot golf" to me. It sounds like it should be fun.

about 15 years ago I did this. a bit of backstory, we arrived on Thursday night and purpose of trip was to watch and bet the ohio state Michigan football game. I had a 2500 bankroll and lost half of it on Thursday night, I was sick. we weren't leaving until sunday night on the redeye.

Friday morning we got up (staying at nyny) and arrived at Mandalay Bay at 7am for some breakfast. we ate, played a little, drank a beer and moved on to luxor. same thing there then on to Excalibur. you get the idea. I don't think we quite made it to The STRAT before we crossed the street and headed back south.

we didn't get back to our nyny until 3am. was basically a 20 hour gambling fest.

I pulled my cash from my front pocket, counted it and was a 2500 again. I won 20 here, 50 here, 100 here. was an amazing run.

I would highly encourage hitting them all, all these years later and me and my buddy still talk about it.

I also used to do this. About 15 years ago I would take a strip crawl. Get to MB around 9 am and walk the whole strip north. I play craps and in those days they had $5 crap tables so I would go to all the casinos and hit the crap table. I walked all the way to the Strat. I ended my crawl about 5 pm, just in time to walk into Olympic Garden for their early bird specials (free entry and reduced drinks).

    Those were the days, lol.

I tried doing this a fee years ago, was over it but he time I got to Wynn and took the monorail back down rather than cross the street.

    I'm a quitter.

    Slot golf.:
We started with 18 $10 bills each. Went to casino 1 and picked out a slot machine. E.g. a 25 cent machine with max of 5 credits. I put in my $10. Bet max credit. First pull no win. Second pull no win. Third pull I win something (anything- even just one credit). I cash out and put the winnings and what is left of the $10 in a pot. My score is 3 for the first hole.

Next person puts In their $10 to the same machine. Bets same max credits. That person has a win on the first pull. His score is 1. His winnings and his balance are cashed out added to the pot. One pot combining both players .

You repeat this for 18 “holes”. Low total score after 18 holes wins the pot.

obviously there are variations of this. You can have as many players as you want. More players =bigger pot. You can have winner take all or have percentage of pot for 1st, second, third etc.

you could do it all in one casino. But we did it in 18 different casinos in one night. ( required a couple of cab rides.) We would play the “hole” then gambled some craps or whatever and had a drink or two before moving on.

    was an epic night!
