I’ve sometimes heard the Wynn app referred to as a “gambling simulator”. After the latest update, I can’t see how it is in any sense a “simulator”, unless you are just spinning for amusement. How is it, under any common sense meaning, any different than actual gambling in a casino? All of the following are true: - One can only gain rewards by spending significant amount of cash buying chips. - One can only gain rewards by actually gambling these chips (running them through a slot machine), with rewards proportionate to how much one gambles. - The prices of rewards are tied to their actual cash value on the open market. Given this, why shouldn’t this app need to be licensed and regulated in the same way as any real-money online casino?
