Odd question. I think I want to go to Vegas sometime in the first or second week in June. Because of work, I'll probably end up booking my flight the day of or the night before.

I'll probably stay about 5 nights at some combination of M, Cosmo, Venetian, and Mandalay with a trip to national parks for a couple days sandwiched in. I have comp offers at all these places, and have stayed at them all several times on comps several times before, but am not someone the casinos are going to go out of their way for. Any idea how long in advance I would need to book to make it likely that I'll be able to book comped rooms? I'm hoping a few days will suffice. I guess this question might boil down to "how busy is Vegas in early June," but maybe there's more to it than that. I'd rather not get into the game of cancelling and rebooking 100s of times or staying at lower-tiered CET properties if I can avoid it.

    Thanks!!

Never mind, I see you said you didn't book your flight yet.

If they start filling up, comp availability will disappear. It happens.

Of course, with a last minute flight, you are gonna pay hefty for those seats in most cases.

Hope you luck once you get to Vegas is better.

Book the comp rooms yesterday. You might look at whatever dates you could possibly fly first as some days can be half the price of the next day.
Book the airfare as soon as you can.

Comp rooms fill fast, unless u have a host can secure one. I would book the rooms now on a guess and adjust later when u know the flight dates

You are going in early June.. which is next weekend, and wanna stay at multiple places and haven't planned it yet? Hmm. It could be difficult. I guess I would book 5 nights the first week of June and 5 nights the 2nd (book 3 nights somewhere, and 2 nights somewhere) and then just cancel what I don't need, probably the best you can do. You would only have to cancel 2 rooms then, it's a 2 minute phone call, do it in the cab on your way to the airport! Also if you can avoid weekends that would probably help you out...

Or just suck it up and pay. If you are getting comped at all of these places you can probably get a really good rate, I would guess...

Not sure if you have booked your rooms yet, but I agree with the 'book them so you have a place to sleep' and cancel if you do not need them system. When I have checked comped rooms on sites in the past, I've hesitated and then they were gone a day or two later......
