    Besides Video poker....

I usually pick two machines next to each other that I kinda like..then I slam a $20 spot into each one and bet max and whichever one lasts the longest gets my play for an additional $100 or until a bonus round hits, or (even rarer) I win 10x my buy in for that machine :)

My husband and I always play together side-by-side, but on just one players card. We play slots exclusively for 8 to 10 hours a day. We only play the newer, penny/video slots with pop-culture themes (Lord of the Rings, Iron Man, Batman, etc.). We play max lines and usually however many credits per line it takes to be closest to a dollar a spin, but we'll increase that if we get on a roll. We generally have a combined $2,000 bankroll for Friday through Sunday night (so really only 2 1/2 days max). Except for Thanksgiving when it's closer to 4 full days and we probably bankroll $3,000. We go around 4 to 5 times a year. We get comped the highest level rooms below suites any time we want at any property, usually with around $300 in free play. We also get offers for show tickets (Elton, etc.), parties and tournaments. Our win/loss statement for 2013 was -$11,000. Vegas is really the only vacation we get that doesn't include the whole family, so we love it and feel we are treated relatively well.

Feed machine $100. Furiously mash the buttons as fast as I can, sometimes stopping to rub the screen in just the right direction for luck...........

    Repeat..............

Oh wait, that's what I see others do :poke: I'll feed it a $20 or $100, play it for 5 or 6 spins, if I don't get anything I head off to find another one that looks good. I don't play much anymore but at the local Indian casino I used to do well like this. The times I did horrible would be when I'd take my wife. She'd find some machine she liked, might not pay out much but wouldn't bleed her dry either. I oddly enough like being around my wife so I'd sit next to her and play. Never have had a decent night playing like that.

    Sco, I love your questions!

We start with a $20 usually, at machines side by side (hubby and I). We both play minimum to start out with but I tend to increase if I've had several dry spins (figure it should hit a good one soon) an hour later my husband is still playing on his $20 and I've usually gone through $80 more. That's just the way my cooke crubles unfortunately.

I will tend to hop if the machine is completely dead. And, I MUST have loud music.

It's a tradition to play $1 Majestic Lions at MGM and also the Lions Share machine - we usually budget about $100 -$120 for those, max bets.

My husband is a fan of the licensed games and I have gotten more into the G+ games lately.
