I found this little black leather treasure just after my first trip to Vegas and it has been my Vegas purse since:

    upload_2016-7-31_20-47-20.jpeg
The lip balsem as reference for the size.

Why I love it so much is because it's small, but still holds a lot of stuff and it has two zipped compartments, one for player cards and gambling money in $20 bills plus tip money in $1 bills, the other for phone, passport and change/coins, plus a front pocket for creditcard, spending money and room key.

It is already packed in my Vegas suitecase, together with my player cards, left over dollars and other goodies which are only for Vegas, eager to be used again!

If I plan to go out for long, then I bring a bigger bag or small backpack and put the purse in there.

I put my daily allotment in my wallet each morning and then keep the rest in an envelope in my suitcase. I probably should use the safe, but since I put the DND tag on my door I figure I'm okay.

If you have a safe, use it imo.

Ditto. One can never be too careful. Can you imagine how bad of a trip it would be if something that was totally in your control went awry? That's the way I look at it.

I bring two wallets along. One with cash, real DL and CC's/ATM's stays in the safe or suitcase if no room safe.I go downstairs with another- budgeted cash and players card and an expired DL incase I need ID.(Works everywhere except players club desks.Gift shops etc just match the name,do not want to risk losing real DL while traveling and drinking along the way)
So that cash on hand is what I got live or die and I make it a PIA to make the trek upstairs to take some more out...Eventually that's when you know you have to quit and get some dinner..works for me on week long trips.
So tough to keep discipline in money management .GL everyone.

Does the expired DL work if you get a handpay?

HI Breanna! I'm so glad you like it, I was pretty excited about it as it's so functional. It also has an ID slot for your DL plus a couple of CC/players card slots. Also, it opens MUCH wider than most coin purses.

I actually first bought the softer leather but then gave it as a gift to my sister in law. I opted for the embossed leather only because I think it'll hold up to Vegas scratches/wear and tear more.

I've tried the small cross-body wallets, but I just feel more comfortable with money/player cards in this around neck, then a very small cross body for lipstick, water, cell, etc.

I think strapped to your pursue is also a great idea, that little key ring and the ID window are what sold me, it made my day you liked it too. :D

I keep mine wadded up and in my front pockets with players club cards, phone, keys, gum, and spare change. I find that when I drop some cash whilst attempting to retrieve other items, the time spent gathering it up from the floor helps to stay stretched out and it takes longer to lose my bankroll.

Yes it did in Golden Nugget AC,but the girl came back to me telling me it was expired and I told her my real DL was in the safe (in Harrah's)..they had my info on file already so it flew..
Another time at the Rio TR desk, guy turned me down trying to use it for a couple new cards..trip to room and back and he was behind the counter area and I flashed him the new card with a smile and he nodded back.

    This.
I keep my players cards in the car console as I have enough in Las Vegas to make the stack about 2" tall. My husband ribs me about it every time I pack for a trip.

I have my gambling money for the day in a money clip in my front left pocket. My right front pocket has a business card holder with my player's cards in it along with some "pocket" money for tipping or small purchases. My gambling money and my spending money stay separate. Anything that I am not gambling on that particular day stays in the safe up in the room.

    Same here!
I keep my whole stash in the room safe in an envelope. I keep my daily bankroll in one pocket of my wallet. I keep small bills for tipping in the other pocket. Everything else I pay for with my debit or credit cards. So far this had worked out for me over the years.

Hey, I too do the money clip for all cash bills on front pants pocked and a business card holder with ID/SS Card/Room Key on the right! Player Cards/Titos are shirt pocket. The problem always is... after 10 - 15 Heineken's I get everything all mixed up? So if you see a guy walking around down-town habitually patting his left pants pocket it's probably me before I've had 10 - 15 Heineken's!

This is pretty much my method too........I tuck my DL, one CC, and players card in the middle and add a black binder clip to clamp it togetheron the fold, along with the rubber band for a little friction to keep it from jumping out.

Main difference is I have a tenner on the outside wrapped around ones

Every other place I visit I just carry my whole wallet.

I usually just get tired of carrying around all that money so I just let the casino carry it for me.
