How did I get comped?

I just got back from a trip at an Mlife property. I stayed 6 nights: four were free through my Mlife offer and the other two were paid. My statement at checkout looked normal, but I received a second statement by email a few hours later while I was on the plane. This one was only for incidentals (meals and spa) and the other two nights were comped. I verified that this is what my credit card was charged for.

How did I manage to get the other two nights comped? I'm not even a mid-roller. I had about $3000 coin in at various Mlife casino slots, but only around $1500 at the hotel I stayed at. Played about 5 hours of $10 roulette. Mostly played poker. That's really it. Any insight on how I triggered this new comp level? I'd love to repeat it again on my next stay.

I would wait until all of the charges become permanent. Could be they charged your remaining 2 nights to your deposit and there were additional charges for the incidentals. You had 4 free nights, so you are obviously on their radar.

The charges are permanent. Everything from the trip has cleared my cc, nothing is pending. I did not have to pay a deposit.

Maybe a host reviewed and just comped you. I wouldn't call to clarify lol.

Maybe the roulette play got entered at a higher amount than what you played.

Just say thank you and check for future offers.

Did you check to see if you tier points and express comps changed?

Definitely not complaining and certainly not going to call in case it was a mistake. They didn't take any of my express comps and my tier credits only went down relative to the amount that was comped. I was just hoping there was some knowledge I missed here that I could replicate on future trips.

If the room only retailed for $39/night, your play might have ended up covering 6 nights, especially if you played a lot of penny slots and got slightly over-rated at roulette.

I've never heard of a MLife host comp anything behind the scenes without introducing themselves first
