Like other Canadian travelers, I'm in Alberta and the Government has asked that we not travel outside of the country until further notice and for those coming home from outside the country, to self quarantine for 14 days. We are booked for Easter and while I haven't cancelled yet, I'm pretty sure we will be. We'll decide at month end.

No trip planned now and will probably go next year. Will keep and eye on airfares. Mrs flyguy said even if I drive to Biloxi she would make me stay away for 14 days. LOL

Note: most passenger jets have HEPA filtration systems that will clean the recirculated air about once every four minutes (typically 50% of the air is "new" air from outside the jet). Concern should be the surfaces and people sitting nearby.

I invited two girlfriends to come with me to Vegas. We brought cheap airline tickets a couple months back. We are in our 60’s, all healthy and work full time for the same employer. Trip is next weekend. Because we booked awhile back the airline (Frontier) is waiving their cancellation/change fee one time. We can’t get our money back but we can take what we spent and use it toward another flight at a later date as long as we do so within 90 days and travel by November. That was the latest from yesterday. And the rooms were allowing cancellation with 24 hour notice instead of the usual 72 hours. We discussed if we should reschedule and have decided to wait till closer to departure to decide.

My answer wasnt an option, and that is, unless or until things get much worse, I will he increasing my trips as the perks have gotten significantly better, and my two main obstacles to Vegas trips, time off work and cost of airfare, have both also improved. Just a couple weeks ago, I checked memorial day weekend for example (free paid day off right?), didnt have a comp room I was happy with for the full weekend, and airfare started at $1500+. This morning, I have a CET offer that covers the entire 3 day holiday weekend Friday through Monday in a junior suite and gives me a cruise voucher, and first class airfare is under $900. Also may head that way this weekend because I'm supposed to be boarding a cruise, and it's looking more and more like that maybe isn't going to happen due to them and my employer adding restrictions daily.

I'm ready, anxious, and able to go, but am holding off booking. I'm 72, in great health, and hardly ever get sick; but whenever I have gotten sick, it's during or right after a Vegas trip! Could be the planes, casinos or both, but I'd rather risk my money at the tables instead of my health. I currently have plenty of free nights, am very close to locking in Sapphire for another year, and flights are cheap, but I'll continue holding off until … NUTS!

I just canceled my trip. Also booked with Frontier out of Detroit but I live in Canada. Booked this trip because it is my March Break(Teacher). Even though Frontier gave a credit for the full amount to be used in 90days I am not sure if I will be able to use it since I won't have the time off to go somewhere. Trying to get a refund but doesn't look like its possible. I didn't cancel because of fear of getting the Virus, but because I don't think I can have fun in that city right now, with the mass hysteria and how they are starting to close many things. (Buffets, shows, clubs, soon to be more I am expecting)

I'm hopeful I will still be able to make my trip, but the reason for the trip was the NFL Draft in Vegas and I suspect that the events around the draft will be cancelled. If the Draft is cancelled, I will likely cancel my trip, but right now just waiting to see how this plays out.

Plans to be there April 2. Bummed that March Madness is kaput. Still planning on going, but monitoring the situation daily. I am not in the high risk category, and travel a lot for work, so I have the disciplines of hygiene, hydration, and supplements to keep my immune system going. A lot can change in 3 weeks, we’ll see.

We are booked to be in Vegas Late Oct/Early Nov (just ahead of SEMA) and have no plans to change it, unless circumstances force the change down the line. Even booked the flight as they dropped this last week to a price I can't refuse, on a "cherry" schedule and direct flight taboot.

am 76 years of age and have been going to vegas twice a year for 50 years-----for last 25 years have been able to get rooms comped and playing the credit card point games and volunteering for bumps have been able to get free airfare as well from philly

just cancelled my april 1st trip due to the coronavirus-----did not want to be confined on an airplane with 150 to 200 people nor wait in lines at a crowded airport---also saw they are closing a number of buffets on the strip

I already had free airfare set up for an aug 26 trip----was able to rebook my 4 comp rooms at mss and 2 at the downtown grand from april to august

now working on trying to rebook my april flite with American---while they have made their rebook policy more liberal am having some difficulty ------policy calls for free rebook till dec 31 or 1 year from date of booking which ever is earlier-----for me that would be august 8 since I booked far in advance as is my normal practice----American rep on the phone was most helpful [there was a 2 hour wait so I opted for a call back]---rep advised that rules could change and to not do the rebook or cancel until the day before the scheduled flite and to check their site or call periodically

anyone else out there who is cancelling and/or rebooking?

The draft is going to be cancelled (or changed to a non tourist thing). Could take a couple weeks to announce it, so no reason to cancel for now.

But looking at the CET calendar for that week compared to what it was, even if the NFL wanted to take on that liability (and they won't), people have already been cancelling their rooms in droves. Expensive event to put on and have no one show.

And that's before we get into the cooperation they need from local government.

Ended up cancelling the March Madness trip and re-booked for a football weekend in October. That means I will be one year between trips to the 702, awful, first world problems indeed.

I’m flying out 3/20 for 5 nights to Las Vegas. I’m going unless they tell me I can’t. I bought those disposable finger cots for my button smashing finger and filled my purse with the 1 oz size hand sanitizers. Is it 1 oz or less you can carry on? Anyway I’ll also be putting Clorox wipes in a ziplock bag to wipe any surface on the plane. Those finger cots ( Michael’s carries them as well as Amazon) are genius. It’s like a finger “condom” you roll on just the finger(s) you will be touching surfaces with and throw away. The fad hasn’t caught on yet, so buy them now and you heard it here first. Lol I’ll try and do a trip report if all goes well and my flight isn’t cancelled. Schools are still in session here except universities. No positive tests in my county as of today, but one patient was being tested at Syracuse University Hospital. Everyone stay healthy. I’m hoping my Vodka consumption will make me immune once there. LOL

I have a trip to Key West in a week. I'm still planning on going unless it gets cancelled for me. If I did not have this trip planned I would definitely be planning a trip to Vegas (or Atlantic city) in light of the cheap room and flight rates!

I booked comped rooms at MSS/Cal and a R/T flight last night for $150, arriving this Sunday and returning Weds. looking like a last chance for fun before the country gets locked down. more than anything I'm hoping my trip over Memorial Day doesn't get canceled.

Well, [dirty word]. My plans to go on a poker trip during the WSOP are going the way of the DOW Jones.

I'm 70, had heart by-pass surgery in 1995, stents since then, and I'm currently pretty healthy, but a family member has type 1 diabetes. Things are going to have to improve greatly before I book my trip, but my fingers are crossed.
