Show is dark right now through the end of the month, but I'd expect that to be extended as the CDC has called for social distancing for 8 weeks. Keep looking and as soon as it extends to your dates, I'm assuming you can cancel.

I don't want to speculate, but I'm also sure this is one of the biggest questions that everyone has on their minds right now. CDC's guideline for public spaces expires Mid-May. Is that it? Macau was closed for just about 2 weeks, so is that going to happen in Vegas? Or are the places staying open for now going to delay any benefit of shutting down? I dunno. We are going to have to wait and see what happens.

I'm doing my best to stay up to date with the latest from reliable Vegas sources. I will certainly share any plans I hear, even though you have to admit at this point what we don't know about what is going to happen is a LOT greater than what we do know at this point. Hang in there and have patience, everyone. We'll get through it and have a meet up of all meet ups or something when it's situation normal again. :)

I haven’t cancelled anything yet. Flight is Friday March 27 returning Monday March 30. I have rooms at Cosmo and Harrah’s. Going to hold out and try to go if I can !

Given your level of play, as reflected in your comps, CET would be INSANE not to make it right whenever you come back out and the Mattress Event my guess is not happening anyway; just will be postponed.

Jet Blue has been great. I'm MOSAIC so it is like SW for me as I never incur change fees but friends of mine who aren't MOSAIC have also had a good Jet Blue customer experience.

I’m supposed to fly there 3/20. I haven’t canceled either. I know it’s going to be dead if it’s open, but I’m really wanting to vlog the city in this unprecedented time. It will be a part of history. Walking down the strip like I’m the sole survivor in the apocalypse. Everyone already knows I’m not right, so why conform now? Lol Unless my room at Cosmo is gone, I get sick, or flights are canceled, I’m still planning to go.

AC casinos are closed as well as of 8 pm tonight. The governors of NY, NJ and CT had a rare joint press conference and throughout the tri-state region, effective in less than 24 hours, all restaurants, bars, gyms, movie theaters, etc. etc. are closed. The exception is that at restaurants takeout and delivery will be allowed, for the time being. Very sad to see the news today that some local businesses said tomorrow they are closing for good.

Hahah I love the sole survivor on the strip vlog idea!! That’s epic. Do you have a YouTube channel or somewhere where I can follow to watch for the vlogs you make?

Crossing my fingers for both of us, that we get to go! I’m excited to have the strip all to myself too. It would be so surreal, even more surreal than it is every time I go when things are normal! :)

With all the locals (we can sometimes forget people actually live in or near our mecca) I am willing to bet there are going to be some killer videos of people walking the strip when it is near empty. Amazing to think of the views and pictures they will capture. Obviously not going to happen but can we imagine the movie shots that could happen during this time?

Given that AC is down as of tonight our vacation is being put on hold. I am headed north to visit with my daughter at college for a few days.

I am one of those in this thread (definitely not alone) that 100% did a 180 given how things have developed. Onward and upward everyone.

I’ll post here if I’m even able to go, but my cinema skills may be on par with the Blair Witch Project in quality.

We were actually going for a volleyball tournament, that was not cancelled, but has been postponed for a couple of months. I doubt we'll be going now because of another scheduled tournament. We may have another opportunity to go in July.... Have to wait and see now...

Well mine changed unfortunately...My Cosmo host called earlier to tell me they are closing Wednesday. So no Vegas for me. I have close friends who live there I can stay with, but it wouldn’t be the same without my Cosmo balcony. :(

Sorry @Hoofy7 :( The reality of "our Cosmo" closing, even temporarily, is a sad thing.

We have plans to go to Biloxi (Beau Rivage currently scheduled to re-open on 4/2) arriving on the 8th of April. We're booked on Delta and they're letting people cancel and hold the credit for future flights thru 2/28/21 so I'm not cancelling just yet. Delta has even gone as far as saying (currently only for Mar and Apr travel) if you don't fly but don't cancel, once they see the ticket wasn't used the credit "should" show on your account withing 24 hours.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday; supposed to be leaving Thursday and be at Sam's Town next Mon.-Wed. Cashed out roughly 450,000 points in November; still have about 200,000 points I was hanging on to for food, etc. but in light of what's going on it's hard to be upset if the remaining points vanish.

While I was in the process of rebooking our SW flights for the end of May to get the cheaper rate, my husband received an email that his conference (Cisco Live) was cancelling the in person conference and moving to a virtual one. Perhaps if things start back up we will go in June but it will be for less days and will change our hotel plans since we only stay at Mandalay Bay/Mlife hotels for conferences. We are likely going to lose our Gold MLife status this year. With less trips/days for this year I am also going to have to evaluate which loyalty program we want to focus on in the future. Ceasars diamond - with possible Eldorado devaluation, Cosmo with only one hotel, Mlife with the loss of work paid benefits. Lots of disruptions in our lives with so many unanswered questions.

Have (had?) reservations arriving March 31 at Nomad. Havent canceled those - watching to see if MGM cancels the reservations automatically. Canceled flights.

How have my plans changed? Not only won't I be going to Las Vegas, I'll be sitting at home. Because I live in the San Francisco Bay Area where a Shelter-in-place became effective at 12:01 am today - through April 6.

    Update and a little stinger:

I had a reservation for a King room at Nomad. The system automatically canceled it. And now, the canceled reservation shows as a suite! Feels like some kinda oddball joke, backhanded invitation.

How serious is this? I thought the Pope holding Easter services without the public for the first time says it all. Well, not quite. Closed pubs in Dublin on St. Patrick's Day certainly says it ALL! OMG – it's gotten worse still. Melania Trump canceled next month's Easter Egg Roll!

You do know that the Cosmo announced they're closing the 18th?

So sorry Hoofy! I'm sad too. I still have a booking at Caesar's, but doubting they will hold out much longer.
