I haven't read anything about the size and nature of the crowds on Fremont St lately. (It's entirely possible I missed it, be gentle if I did.) For awhile there, I was reading that it was absolutely packed and that the crowds were more raucous than ever before. As some of you may know from other threads I've started, I'm bringing my bride for her first ever trip to Vegas in April. While the size and nature of the crowds on Fremont could change one way and back again before that time, I was just curious what the current situation was. We like to party as much as anyone, but given our age (early 50s) and station in life, we'd rather avoid back to chest crowds and over the top raucous. I'm not judging anyone who doesn't mind that, it's just not our speed. I know if I took her into a crazy crowd packed like sardines with the smell of marijuana everywhere, that she wouldn't have a good time. If that's how things still are on Fremont, I may avoid it this next trip. Thanks for whatever insight you may have!
