So I'm thinking of getting tix to see Carlos Santana at HOB @ MB. Just wondering if there are really any bad seats at HOB as it looks like a pretty intimate venue? Thanks in advance VMBers......

We went to the Billy Idol concert at the House of Blues and bought general admission tickets. We just hung out by the bar but had a pretty good view of the stage. The sound was pretty good but wasn't so loud that you couldn't carry on a conversation.

Thanks for the replies. Paperposter, if an artist was there that you really liked, in my case Carlos Santana, in your opinion is it worth it to pay basically double for reserved seating? Thanks.

no , get in early enough and make sure in the pit section in front off the soundboard on the actual floor .

ps if its croweded and oversold it can sux with talkers and drunk shmucks up front there thats why i dont like the venue.

ps i belive its only a 90 minute show so it wont last long

i belive if the uppers dont sell u can upgrade for less inside sometimes

I saw Carlos back in 2013 we had GA tickets got there early in front row, He generally plays on the left side, I you tubed the date and some one was filming behind me on there phone this can give you an idea of the venue seeing him in the front was really awesome so talented.

For upstairs, the side sections have crappy views, center section above the fourth row is pretty decent. Surprisingly the first couple of rows in the balcony suck too because the railing is large.
