I am recently 7 stars with CET and have basically played them exclusively due to my local casino being CET. IS it unusual to contact another property and ask a host what they could offer based on my status with CET? I know nothing much of how the whole host/comps thing work other than what my own host has told me as far as what I have available and of course what I can see on my account/mailing offers. I guess my question is will hosts at other casinos make offers based on your history/status with another casino?

    thanks for any input

One very effective approach is to pick out some current CET offer that is appealing to you.
Then call a casino you are interested in sand ask to speak to a host.
Tell the host what you have and ask if they would match or exceed it.
e.g. You might say "I have an offer for five nights at Caesars Palace with $400 in Free Play and a Resort Credit of another $400".
    What could you front me?"

Not every property will go past free rooms with a total stranger, but you might catch someone hungry.
If they have a contact in CET who can verify your worth, that will grease the skids.

Are you staying at Harrahs because you like the casino. I think that being 7 stars you could get rooms at Caesars or Planet Hollywood or the Cromwell, which I think are nicer places to stay than Harrahs.

Or Paris. Harrahs is okay, but rather basic compared to the other choices.

And yes, call and ask for a vip host. They will ask for your number and look you up.

Agreed, if you've spoken to your host and he's told you that, then this is perhaps the best reason! If that communication came from general customer service though, and not your host, I'd give him a buzz.

Caesar's has King suites (a king room + adjoining living room) that also adjoin to a standard double queen room next door (there may be other combos as well, not sure). My friend (who is Diamond) got a group of us that when we went for a bachelor party a few years ago. Just something to ask about if you haven't already done so. it was a great layout, and perfect for us for a couple nights.

im pretty easy to please...I like to gamble, not much on shows whatever. have Brittany and Rod Stewart tickets set up comped for my guests...I enjoy the free meals but other than that Im pretty low key as far as the room quality, shows etc....

would rather have free play lol
