    My Trip Report

Paid my favorite locals a visit today. Had a nice lunch at the Gold Strike buffet. Hit up my usual favorite machines. Here are a couple that really made my trip worthwhile. 20170708_133442_HDR.jpg 20170708_153236_HDR.jpg 20170708_153319_HDR.jpg 20170708_153459_HDR.jpg 20170708_165128_HDR.jpg
After I hit the handpay, a woman stopped and almost rudely said "..I just played that machine and put 200.00 in it". I replied "..well, I just got your 200.00 plus another 1000.00!" She wasn't amused, turned around and walked off. Hey, I've had that happen but wouldn't actually express my disappointment!

Those are some nice wins. Congrats! Anything on the Gold Strike buffet worth writing home about?

The weekday/night items are just average but better than Horseshoe. Friday night through Sunday night, they have a fair seafood selection (shrimp, crab claws, smoked salmon, etc.) and some complimentary drinks. There's a meat carving station where I've seen them grill a steak to order on a special request. Great omelette/pasta station as well. Desserts are pretty good and great selections of ice cream flavors.

Thanks for the info. I've been using my buffet credit for breakfast, but I may go for dinner or supper next trip.
