That's a unique room. It's no porn tub, but I like the garden tub in the shower lol

Edit: whoa, I spy swim up rooms on the bottom floor there, or are those just some manifestation of cabanas?

That's pretty slick. I might have to take an AA miles flight down there and check it out, but it looks like right now Tampa gives me a suite and like $750 in freeplay and comp dollars but Hollywood just gives me a room. Seems weird. Retail room prices are similar both places, just slightly more at Hollywood.

I’d just lay there with the curtains open watching the guitar lights.

I really liked the Denver recommendation from last week but couldn't make it work. To long of a flight for a weekend. I'll need to do it when I can take some pto.

Does anyone have any good ideas for this weekend? I'm heading to Vegas next week so don't want to go out west. Looking for something east of the Mississippi that has a casino hotel and may be a bit unique or off the beaten path.

I'm not sure of what your status is, but I have heard lots of good things about the area around harrah's cherokee in North Carolina. Also depending on flights and your mood you could always shoot up to maryland/dc area. Not really off the beaten path but tons of cool stuff to do besides casinos. With Atlantic city there is a spirit flight from Tampa.

The one day I forget my phone. Before work I went downstairs to get a pastry and stopped at the crazy rich Asian slot machine. Gave me 60 free spins and felt like it went on forever. No real big wins but they added up. I had to ask a nice person next to me to text me a photo.

It's been an interesting week at the hard Rock Hollywood creating paperwork for myself. Generally I've had really good luck playing blackjack and horrible luck at bubble craps. Generally when I win I put it on my account as front money and then use the smaller denominations to take cash. They cash always turns into a .45 ticket...no more bubble craps for me.

I've gotten 4 w2 and 3 of them I lost my whole amount in the machine that session. So paperwork for no good reaaon.

To keep round numbers for myself I've been 375 on the 4 and 10, 475 on the 5 and 9 and 525 on the 6 and 8. Live craps I only play the inside. And the HR removed their shoot to win table as they are training the dealers for live craps soon, people are speculating the fall.

1 I bet in the 4 but did the math as it was the 5 accidentally. I missed the buzzer and was thinking anything but a 4 and then bam it was a 4.

2 went to 490 on the 5 and hit 1200.50

3 295 on blackjack with a split and double - no idea why I was playing that

4 the only real win was the crazy rich asiana

Still no yellow chips on the tables. Someone stole them from a table so now they are waiting for them to be cashed in and they can figure out who did it. Which means the table runs out of purple chips very quickly.

I did my wash at a laundry mat again. Returned my basket to WM and now I'm done with laundry. I'm simple shirts and a t-shirt and have bought a bunch online so I'm stocked. I'll donate things now.

Im pretty quiet so after 3 weeks most of the folks know who I am. Front desk, dealers, cashiers. But still tough at the restaurants as I want to eat dinner at 6 and they claim they are booked for the day. Very odd.

Second on harrahs Cherokee. I go there every couple of years and its definitely off the beaten path, but also CZR's largest casino, at least pre-merger. They have real craps and table games and beautiful scenery. Shirt flight from Florida to Asheville, then I want to say its maybe a 90 minute drive from Asheville, but it's a gorgeous drive through the mountains and Maggie Valley. They also have a sister casino Valley River that I havent been to but I think someone here told me it's about 2 hours drive from Cherokee. Cherokee has enormous slot selection, and incredible views. Only down side is North Carolina prohibits comping alcohol even in the private lounges. Not the best place in the world, but if you want a short flight from Florida east of the Mississippi it fits the bill.

Wow, so will they print up a new style of chips?
Must have been a big pile of chips to do that.

Maybe a tip to will help them find space.

Thanks. I've been there once but will probably make another and combine with a stop in gaitlinberg. I thinknin a previous post someone mentioned unlimited free movies which is something I would use.

I'm headed to Vegas this week. So yesterday I decided to take a break from the casino and only go on a short trip. Drove over to Marco Island which is on the west side of Florida. It is nice over here but a cloudy day so far....maybe from the storm in the gulf. I look forward to sitting around and doing nothing all day. Hardest thing I'll do is eat while watching the soccer game at noon.

Right now I am booked through mid July during the week. Still filling in the weekend, usually on that Friday. If I see a great apartment I'll take it but right now I am not in any hurry.

Packed for my trip to Vegas tomorrow. My t shirts have been delivered and I'm ready to go.

I've got the spa tower at the Golden nugget and maybe another spot for the airfare.....we shall see.

Big plans are to get a chip from circa and go to the opening on Resorts World. Taking Wednesday through Friday off from work so it will be nice and relaxing. Trying to plan what to do this weekend. Maybe Denver, LA, Zion or just come back to Florida and relax. We shall see.
