Meg Thee Stallion is *amazing* and immensely talented :nworthy: also, women entertainers using “manly” nicknames/stage names is kind of a thing right now (Meg, pro wrestler Becky “The Man” Lynch, alt-pop singer King Princess, etc. etc.)… more power to them

In Texas now. No casinos so no fun. Last weekend I was planning on seeing Dave Chappell at the hard rock. Had complimentary tickets but a few days before the show the host messaged that they were requiring covid tests the day of at the event. Apparently there was a notice when buying tickets via ticketmaster but no popup on the casino booking site. I ended up cancelling as I didnt feel like dealing with tests / crowds and wasnt a big fan anyways. Sounded like the event was crazy as many people didnt know the rules or where to get tested. You needed a printed ticket to get tested so everyone had to use the fedex store to print them. Luckily the rules were by Chappell and not the venue so I am good for the next set of performers.

Yes, first time in the office since Feb 2020. It felt like a time machine as there were photos on the board from Christmas 2019, cookies that expired in 2020 on someone's desk, files on desks from folks who are no longer with the company and generally was a ghost town. The office opening has been bushed back to November so far.

    Hes still working from home.

Looks like you report on the boards about as often as I do. :D
    Take care out there.

Hard decisions today but I think my lack of a decision makes it for me.

Have a Greek cruise booked for Saturday. It is on the celebrity apex in a sky suite. I haven't paid yet but the cost would be 200. I haven't been good with flying or heights lately so I'm not excited about 15 hours traveling with a mask. I'm thinking of moving the trip to next year. Since I haven't packed or booked a flight yet I think my mind is saying no.....

Other options are heading to NY again for a pizza tour, cancun, a cruise from Florida. I've got a week off so I can do something fun.

Just my two cents. As an avid cruiser (retired and living in central florida cruising is too easy) Hold off on the cruise. I mean you want to get the full cruise experience and who knows how that will go. My biggest fear is an outbreak on the ship and then you are stuck on the ship until they figure out what to do with you.

Have a cruise scheduled this fall so have been following closely.
Celebrity/Royal have been pretty good with isolating and removing the positive cases.
Always some risk anywhere and depends on existing conditions, age, and how risky you are.
From what I've seen I'd stay clear of Carnival for now.
Agree I probably wouldn't do a cruise beyond 5-7 days now.
Most ships are very empty right now which is a plus.
Personally I think lots of areas in LV are probably riskier right now.
Read up on Cancun, I'd do a cruise or do NY before doing that right now.

Funny about cruises....Had one scheduled on Norwegian in January. Hawaii cruise, island hopping. Just got the notice that it is cancelled...even if vaccinated. You just never know.

Woke up this am and cancelled my flight to NY. They showed the storm hitting on Sunday and didn't want to wash out my trip. So back to the drawing board.

Luckily I canceled the trip to NY. Most of the activities were done because of the storm. Ended up booking a Bahamas cruise Friday afternoon. Thank you urcomped. Then had to scramble around to get a covid test which is required. Made it on board and time to relax.

Pretty jealous you got on a boat, but happy for you! I have had 3 cancelled and may or may not get on a short one for new years. Look forward to some reports from the big boat and what it's like in these weird times.
